  • Re: OT: Canonicity by denomination of John 7:53-8:11, Mark 16:9-20 (e.g.)

Rich – here is an answer to your inquiry from our own CRCNA Acts of Synod 1961. “INFALLIBILITY AND INSPIRATION IN THE LIGHT OF SCRIPTURE AND THE CREEDS” ( Link ) Page 255 While pointing out “difficulties” in some of these texts noted above, the report affirms the infallibility of scripture. I hope this helps.

Steve - Thank you for looking into this problem. It is frustrating to not be able to click away from that popup. I run Safari with InPrivate browsing in iOS and cannot access the Logos web site from my iOS device because of this web site behavior. I must close the browser session because the popup will not go away. I hope you are able to make a suitable

As a former student of Professor Deppe's, I have enjoyed reading this thread. I am not a scholar, but merely a seminary graduate and lay person. I would say that Deppe is very consistent, but this resource does not fully explain his method. The preface in this resource gives the only briefest of introduction to the method behind the clausal outlines

Chris, If you are looking for a recommendation, I'd say the longer book is an excellent work. It was on the "required" book list for my Pauline Letters class. I like its coverage as well as the separate set of footnotes and bibliography for each book of the Bible. If you would like to see a printed copy of the book, I can lend you mine. (We live in

  • Re: Covenant theology resource

As a Reformed reader, I find Feinberg's Continuity and Discontinuity to be a solid and concise work that compares Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism through their respective views on the relationship between the Old and New Testaments. A quote from the book: "The topic under discussion in this book is broader than a discussion between Covenant

I just purchased OT Theology by Paul House and I am greatly enjoying it. I believe there is another thread that discussed House and his background. He is a solid and thoughtful exegete and Old Testament scholar. He interacts with other OT theologians including Childs and von Rad. With regard to your current Logos library, what is especially impressive

Wayne, You will enjoy Prof. Bosma in this seminar. I must admit that, as a former student of Carl's, I am also a bit biased. He is proficient in the Greek and Hebrew languages as well as Libronix and its application in ministry and education. Here's Prof. Bosma's bio: http://calvinseminary.edu/aboutUs/facultyStaff/cbosma.php Based on the description
