  • Christmas promotion and payment plans

The Christmas promotion states that a percentage of the amount spent during the period will be gifted in Logos cash. The fine print says that new payment plans are included in the calculation of the total amount spent but existing payment plans are not. Does anyone know which portion of the new payment plan is included in the calculation? Is it only

Same here, I used to read hebrew on my iPod Touch every day but it has become very difficult. It was not a problem before the latest update.

Alex, I purchased it a few days ago and they unlocked it so I could download it without having the CD on hand. The CD was still shipped separately, but at a lower cost. (I had ordered WBC so that was two CDs really)

  • Re: Looking for input on commentaries

Thanks for the suggestions Donovan. I did get the IVP bundle - it is quite a deal! I find it difficult to get a good idea of a series as a whole on bestcommentaries.com. For example, Tyndale has 10 volumes in the "Best 2" section whereas NAC only has 3. Does this mean Tyndale is better? It certainly doesn't appear to be as in-depth. They do have John

  • Re: Looking for input on commentaries

That's correct. I have the plain Scholar's right now. If I upgraded, I would not purchased the Tyndale series, at least not for a while. I have the Church Fathers as a PBB in Logos 3, so I'm not sure how much value this adds to the upgrade. I know I'd be getting more resources by upgrading, but at this point I'm just looking for input on the commentaries

  • Looking for input on commentaries

Hi guys, I'm looking into getting your input on a basic level commentary for Bible study and sermon prep. I had an order placed on the Tyndale series in pre-pub, but I would like to know how Zondevan's Expositor's commentary compares. I could also upgrade my package to Silver which would get me the New American commentary for a good price. For those

Well, it was McAfee. I ended up temporarily uninstalling it and the products downloaded. The indexing is now running, so we'll see how it goes.

I ran both commands but they both end up displaying "No updates available". However, looking at my application log in Event Viewer, I found this message : Blocked by access protection rule. Hi Todd, I'm running Windows XP, SP3. What is curious is that everything was working fine on Thursday, but not after my purchase of Friday. I installed the package as a regular user on my machine (although that user is a member of the Local Administrator's group). It is installed in the default directory : C:\Documents and Settings\JMaurais\Local Settings

  • Indexer crashes after new resource purchase

I've had Logos 4 installed and working for a couple of weeks now. The initial indexing worked fine, I even added the Anchor Bible Dictionary and that was indexed properly (or so it seems). Last week, I purchased a few more resources. The sales rep then told me that the books were ready for download, so I closed and re-opened Logos. When Logos started

  • Re: Looking for a dictionary/encyclopedia

Thank you for the feedback, it is very useful. I just started working on an MA in Theology and I'd like a dictionary that is a good starting point for research projects. So, bibliographic data is important,as well as diversity. Eventually, I'd probably buy several, but for now I can only afford one. Sounds like the ABD would be the logical choice?
