• Clause Search for "in Jesus"

In my study I have wanted to do a search that would show all of the places where "in Jesus" (in him, in Christ, in Jesus). In L4 I tried the following syntax search. Can I search for this in this new L5 Clause search? I do want it to be the preposition ἐν not any other form. Thanks.
There is currently an open case for this issue. This same bug has been reported here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/61045/433522.aspx That thread will be updated when the bug is resolved.
Thanks

I tried it again but no success. I do have a filter on that strips the verse numbers and places the reference at the end of the text. Like: Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before

I have used both the right click copy and CBV tool with the same results. When I change to "other" it does work in both CBV and right click. But this is just wrong! if you copy something to the clip board using the right click option it should be able to paste anywhere. With "other" selected you can then paste to Word in two steps. This really makes

  • Copying to One Note

I am running L5 on a PC Dell laptop with a second monitor and a SSD. When I copy a verse in Logos and then try to paste it into One Note it does not work. I can paste into Word just fine. I can drag and drop it into One Note but that way I do not get the reference. I am using MS Office 2010 Standard. Can anyone else replicate this? Thanks

It seems like in John ἐρωτάω is more like ask, as if to ask another person. Where προσεύχομαι in the Synoptics is used seems to mean to pray unto God. In John each occurrence is Jesus talking to His Father. As we might ask something of our earthly fathers. Anyway this new feature gave me insight I would have not gotten with our it.

  • Word List Example

I did a word list for the Synoptics and for John. I then did a "Merge" of the two, with Synoptics "word List" open and chose John and used difference. This gives the words that are in the Synoptics and not in John. I found it interesting that pray is not in John.

Mark, Wow! What a great gift to all Logos 5 users. Thank you so much for your great work in this video. I have watched it [just over an hour]. It was time well spent. Truly helpful to show many things that I was unaware of. In Christ, David

  • Document drop down menu?

Can the Document drop down menu be opened in its own window like when you use Ctrl + L to open a library window. I can't seem to find a way to do this.

I am sure you know where the data is on a PC. But for the record it is as follows. Favorites is the last one. "David" is my user name on my PC.

  • Warning About Favorites

Hi all, I just had a terrible shock. All of your information is not backed up on the Logos server. I accidentally deleted my favorites. Now for most people this would not be a problem. However, for me it is a very big problem. I basically indexed my whole computer through favorites. I had hundreds of hours of work there. I had all of my notes indexed
