No harm in asking. If you realllly want to play cautious, you can create a separate account on your computer and install L4 there as a backup ( Quick Installation onto multiple computers ) then upgrade to 5.
Thanks!!!
Yes, in beta testing for about six weeks if I remember the time span correctly.
I did not mean to sound skeptical . I have upgraded on other Bible Software and lost the best features. Once burned twice shy.
David, absolutely nothing is missing from L4 in L5. You gain, but do not lose.
Thanks for the information. Have you used it yourself to be sure?

  • The advantages seem good.

Some of the new features sound interesting. I looked at the videos on YouTube . My concern is what do you lose in going to L5. I started with L4 but I understand that there are well liked features from L3 that never came to L4. Soooo? What's missing?

This seems similar and $79 for the nonprofit version.
Hi Ud Laugh 2, Not easy to determine for sure, but mindjet GUI does not appear to be as flexible. And most I doubt would qualify as nonprofit or academic ie university thus real cost for entry level program is $240. Correct me if I'm wrong
Giovanni's in another one of his bad moods.
Rosie, Thanks for your words but a bad mood is no excuse for such awful behavior. I have reported abuse. I do not want to be apart of anything that would spout such hate. I respect you Rosie thanks for being a peace maker.

  • Re: Why is it opening there?!?

Yes it can. You need to drag the tab of the miss placed book to the window where you want it. This is one extra step but it works easily and quickly.

Yes, but that doesn't meant Logos can't /won't change it.
On this occasion I doubt it just because of the sheer size of the material - 443 issues.
I wonder if they broke it up in chunks if it make it easier to bring it to production. When you look at the product on the web site it does

  • Re: How Can I Hide (or Remove) Unwanted Books in The Library?
I downloaded the Perseus Digital Collections and the books have sort of taken over my Logos to the point where I can't get at the info I want most of the time, especially on my Android device. Question #1: Is it possible to remove (delete) individual books from a collection? Question #2: Is it possible to hide a list of books
subject:("Manuscripts (Papyri)", " Manuscripts--Ancient--Papyri")
Thanks Rosie! This is what I have now and it seems to work well. If it works for your much larger library then it is what I had in mind. This forum and the constant buying of more books can truly become addictive. Well what's a couple of more addictions

  • The Princeton Theological Review

The Green price or the current price that is the highest for this collection is $50. It is also the lowest possible bid. Is there a reason that there are no bids available below this? http://www.logos.com/product/17817/princeton-theological-review
Try changing subject:pap to something more specific that will still match all the papyri in your library, for example perhaps subject:"Manuscripts (Papyri)" will work. I can't seem to unhide other papyri in my library right now to test whether that will exclude all the papyri. But at least it won't match the lexicon I mentioned
