Same story this morning. Quit Logos while it was in reading mode. Logos quit responding, never fully quit that is. Had to force quit is. The force quit works every time Web connection was working right after I tried to quit Logos. Attached is the Logos Logging Utility sample. Thanks so much for your help. 7002.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20130318-112514

Tommy, I am trying to think of more steps that lead to the problem. Here is a screen shot that shows what I typically have open as I use Logos. I go back and forth between the resources. I sometimes do searches. Almost always I close the MacBook at least once, but most often several times. I use the reading view. Safari is open, going to a number of

Logos 5 is running better with RAM up to 16 gigs since Saturday Woke this Monday morning, opened MacBook with Logos still running from the night before. Tried to quit Logos after several minutes of working with other programs. Logos was not responding and had to force quit. I did not sync before I tried to quit, thinking it is not needed with the incresed

Maybe force is simplest. Just go directly to force quit in the first place.

This time I did sync Logos before I tried to quit Logos. Again Logos came up in the force quit box as not responding. After several minutes I forced quit Logos 1385.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20130401-171010.zip 5127.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20130401-171229.zip

  • Re: Again Force Quits for Logos on Mac

I still do not understand why Logos is the only program with this issue. The brakes on a Honda are not the same as those on a Ford, but they are much more alike than they are different. Do any of you have the freeze problem with programs other than Logos ? Do any of you have a quit problem with programs other than Logos ?

Minor problem perhaps, but Logos on my MacBook Pro quit unexp. when I simply opened the computer. At the time had these open: Page, Wallet, Safari and Evernote. I have 16 gigs of RAM. Attached is the log. 6036.LogosLogs.davidbergquist.20130930-084313.zip

I wish my son had the time and Logos would let him work on this problem. He is an excellent experienced Mac programer. He has explained to me what a program has to do to shut down. Kindle somehow shuts down cleanly and allows one to look at the books where one left off on other devices. Kindle though, really deals with one book at a time. I wish the

  • lldb Requires

Here is something new when I simply had Logos quit: "The "lldb" command requires the command line developer tools. Would you like to install the tools now?" No idea what "lldb" is. Is this new with the new OS? How much training would it take to know what to do with the developer tools?

Yes, the MacBook Pro has OS 10.9. Son Daniel says it is something for troubleshooting that should have been removed before the update was released.

  • Highlight Only Some Verses

How does one now highlight or select only particular verses? Logos 6 tries to be too helpful and selects all the verses for the passage. This could be helpful, but I would rather control the verses selected.

  • Logos Starts Very Small

A good share of the time Logos starts very small on my MacBook Pro. It is at the very bottom of the screen, a quarter inch tall and 3 inches long. The Mac and Logos have all the updates. It is no problem to get it to a better size, but it would be helpful for it to start up larger. Any suggestions?
