• Re: Is Hebrew or Greek more important?

Christopher When I started on my first theological degree 30 years ago I began with Greek. However, at the end of my first year I realised just what I would be missing without Hebrew, so I attended a Summer School, when I crammed a year of Hebrew into 10 weeks. That allowed me to undertake honours in both Old and New Testament. In my final year of honours

    Thanks for resurrecting this thread.
This continues to be one of my most-used resources outside of Logos. With its format and its wealth of pointers to other resources (journal articles, lexicons, commentaries, grammars, etc.) it would make so much sense for this to be available for Logos. Though Zerwick is available for

Clayton Indeed, you do! Logos 5 was a good solid version. I always found Logos 6 a bit flaky. Logos 7 is a whole step-change better. I have very few issues with it. It works very solidly for me. Every blessing Alan

  • Re: What Greek and Hebrew Fonts do you use?

I prefer reading Greek in Gentium. It is a nice clean font. Hebrew is more problematic. SBL Hebrew is alright but on balance I prefer Ezra SIL. For academic writing I prefer Palatino Linotype. Every blessing Alan

  • The Select Works of William Temple (11 volumes) in Community Pricing

I cannot understand how this offer is languishing in Community Pricing. Temple writes so passionately, plainly and perspicaciously that he is utterly captivating. His "Readings in St. John's Gospel" are so insightful and suggestive that they alone would make this set value for money. At $40 it is a positive steal. Let's push on with the bidding! Every
My guess is that there is some combination of factors that results in the menu options becoming impossible to see and that got synced to all your machines.
Searching just that resource (not inline) should display the other search types like Basic, Media, etc. A customer called with this behavior last year.
Try a Bible Search from the Context Menu ("Search this resource") as that will alter parameters.
Dave Thanks. Bible search within both Context Menu search and Inline search work fine. See my screen shots: Inline Search Result: Context Search However, neither is as nimble and multifaceted as the Bible Search proper.
Try running a search without any parameters then try it again.
Thanks for the suggestion, George. Unfortunately I can't do any Bible search and alter the range parameters. Bible search is locked into searching the Pauline epistles only! Because I cannot access the menu bar, I am unable to remove/alter those parameters
Try adjusting "Program Scaling"
Dave, Thanks for the suggestion. After I posted the screen shot I noticed that my scaling was set at 120%, and tried reducing it to 100%. It made no difference. What I really can't figure out is why it is only the Bible Search that doesn't have the menu bar above the Search Text Box.
