• Anchor Bible Joel Marcus comentary on Mark 9:1

Folks, Sadly I do not have this resource in my collection. In a discussion with someone this quote was given as proof the Jesus though the eschaton was going to happen in his life time. Could someone provide the complete section for context? You can post here or email me at: Deaconharbey {AT} yahoo {DOT} com Here is the quote: "Is Maark 9:1, the, a

  • Re: Disappointed with Verbum

Features of Logos 5 do not access catholic resources in Verbum.
On the other hand - it is a start - Lots better then two years ago.
Agreed, two years ago it was a desert for Catholic resources. Just a few things here and there. • Re: Will there be a Verbum Forum Section?

I asked this questions too, and see the wisdom in keeping the forum structure as "loose" as possible. Perhaps we can start a Faithlife group for Catholic Logos Users. I for one would love to know hoe other clergymen use Logo in their homily prep. Deacon Harbey Santiago "Viva Cristo Rey!!" Archdiocese of Baltimore

  • Question about Community Tags

Is there a way in which I can create a collection based on the community tags? For example I would like to create a collection of all my resources less the Perseus library. Thanks! "Viva Cristo Rey!!" Deacon Harbey Santiago Archdiocese of Baltimore

  • Looking for your opinions: Should verbum get a forum of its own?

Folks, I just upgraded to L5 via the verbum package. In case you do not know Verbum is a "Catholic flavored" Logos package. With its own list of resources. Since it is clear Logos Co. is trying really hard to build a Catholic audience. What do you think should Verbum get its own forum group? I'm not trying to start any theological discussions here

  • Re: Is there a "New to You" for Verbum Packages?

I had the same problem but contacted my trusty (David Day) Logos sales rep and he was able to quote my prices in Verbum which take into account my present collection. I'm very close to pulling the trigger but I still need to find out if by purchasing a Verbum package I get Logos 5 or not. "Viva Cristo Rey!!" Deacon Harbey Santiago Archdiocese of Baltimore

  • Can I bequest my Logos collection in a living will?

I'm working on updating my will and I would like to bequest my book collection to my seminary library. It occurred to me that more than 2500 titles in this collection exist in my Logos account. My question is: Can I "pass" the rights of using this collection to my seminary library, as part of an endowment for the support of seminarians? "Viva Cristo
Now that a new year, and new book allotment has begun, I am in the process of reviewing the Pre-Pub and Community Pricing selections. I wanted to get your opinion on a resource included in community pricing that I'm unfamiliar with. It's The Catholic Encyclopedia and I have two questions concerning this set. First, I wanted

Best sermon I ever heard? A few years back during the Easter vigil. I still remember it: It went something like this: "Just before our celebration started, little Amy there gave me an Easter present. 5 jelly beans. She said: "Here Father Mike. an Easter present: White for His holiness Blue for his resurrection Green for the hope he gave us Purple for

  • Re: Oh come on! How can people be more interested in Chronicles than Revelation?!

I often wander if the problem is that perhaps some of the people that bid $160 are no longer interested/use logos, so they have no reasons to keep track of how these bids are doing? Or perhaps it is all par of great conspiracy to keep the truth about the end of times hidden from us? I'm not sure what to believe here. "Viva Cristo Rey!!" Deacon Harbey

I am not sure of the import of your post, but to describe Jesus the Son of God as a "guy" does suggest a grave defect in your understanding of Gods Revelation of Himself in His Son. Do you really view Jesus of Nazereth as just some guy? does He not mean more to you than that?
I don't know how
