• Bibliography creation from book footnotes

I have Logos 8 for Windows. I want to create a bibliography list from the footnotes in a chosen book. Using only the initial footnote would be nice. (i.e. skip the Ibid. footnotes and other short forms) Is this possible? I haven't figured out a way as of yet. Thanks in advance.

  • Copy Bible Verses with visual filters

I have Logos 8 for Windows. Is is possible to use the copy bible verse tool, and create a style that adds my chosen visual filters? I like to copy out verses onto paper that utilize my visual filters for nouns, verbs, conjunctions, and prepositions. The print tool in the bible will only copy (as far as I know) the chosen text and filters with the full

  • Download ESV Narrator?

Is it possible to download the ESV narrator, David Heath, to the hard-drive? Is it necessary? When I'm offline there is no sound except the system narrator. If download is not necessary, then how is it made to read when offline? Logos 7, PC Thanks for the help.

  • Charles Swindoll sermon collection

Will there be a Charles Swindoll sermon collection? His illustrations, anecdotes, and stories are a goldmine. I hope to see this on the Pre-Pub page soon.

  • Re: Surface 3

I am fascinated by the new Surface 3. I have the original Surface Pro. Logos runs very well on it. I have no speed issues. I have been waiting to see the Surface Pro 4, and this new Surface 3 was a pleasant surprise. I noticed on MS's website that it says the Surface 3 will run at 80% of the Surface Pro 3 with an i3 installed. Hmm... Once the Pro 4

  • Re: No Notes Displayed on a Galaxy Note 3

Thanks for your advisement, JRS. That sounds like a good option for reading. The 8" would be nice, but a keyhole would definitely be the iPhone. I wish they'd stick a phone in the iPad mini. I wouldn't mind putting it up to my head to talk. Recliners are must haves in the office.

Thanks Allen. I'm leaning strongly toward the Note 3. I just want something from which I can read books with ease. An iPhone doesn't do that. My Surface Pro is good, but I don't take it everywhere. The Note 3 looks like a good solution.

  • Re: No Notes Displayed on a Galaxy Note 3

How comfortably can you read on the Note 3? It looks like it would make a nice tool for reading books in a recliner. I now have an iPhone 4, and it's time to upgrade. I could keep it and get an iPad. If the Note 3 is just as good as a 7 inch screen, then I could get 2 devices in one. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help. Mark

  • Re: Is there any one who has Surface pro?

I have had my Surface Pro for a week now. I use Logos 4. It works beautifully. I read it like a book, or use it like my laptop. I highlight as I read, and paste straight to clippings. The only thing I can see as of now is that the iPad mini could be carried in one hand. Other than that one positive, the iOS doesn't compare to the full power of Logos

  • Re: Tablets

I have an iPhone, and was just about to get the new iPad 3. Then I started playing with Windows 8. I'm going to wait and see what kind of power the new tablets will have for the Christmas shopping season. Windows 8 made my 7 year old machine run like my i7 Windows 7 machine. Even Logos runs normal on it now. This could be an interesting year for mobile

Here is a post from CCEF's facebook page to answer someones question about a potential Logos version of the journal. "... we are working on that right now. Great question - we will keep you updated." If you go to their facebook page you will find this connected to a recent (Feb 22) picture of a new e-format. Hopefully we will finally have this valuable

  • Re: Book request: The REAL Oxford English Dictionary (unabridged)

YES!! This would be the best English tool ever. We need this in Logos. It should not be that expensive. If you look at the unabridged CD-Rom version, it is being sold for $295 right now. I'd pay that to have it integrated in Logos. Please... Please...

I've always considered the dates to be soft estimates. I like the fact that I have an estimate. If it gets pushed back, oh well. Quality is better than speed.

I tried that, but it didn't work. I also tried it on my Macintosh. That didn't work either. I'm going to call customer service, I must have a corrupted disk. Thanks for the help

  • Re: Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar: Video Series - comments

I have my DVD in hand. I cannot, however, get it to run. I wonder if it works with 64bit Windows? I have Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit on an i7 processor. Everything is up todate. I've even tried to load it to the harddrive. It choked on that as well. Any ideas?
I mean I have more invested in my Logos collection than the current car I drive.
Gene, That's funny, my Buick is also now worth less than my Logos library. I better not show my wife that fact, or we'll be making a trip to the car dealer. I'm going to have the lawyer write my will to transfer my entire library to whichever
