• Thanks for the Christmas Gift

I was surprised and delighted to see the Merry Christmas $20 off whatever we like on the Logos front page, rather than another expensive megapack or similar. Thanks Logos.

  • Re: NEW Jouranls bundles are here

I see that the old Master Journal Bundle is still offered on step 3 of ordering a base package. Will this be updated to allow the new journal bundles to be purchased as part of a base package purchase? If so, will it be cheaper to do so?
Anybody realize that this is available in the (minimum) Diamond base package?
There are actually a number of resources in CP that were included in the new base packages. See my post in the Logos 6 forum It formed a big part of my justification for the upgrade as there

  • Logos 6 upgrade fails Microsoft .NET Framework installation

When trying to upgrade from Logos 5 to Logos 6 (I think it was 6.0a) I get: The installation of the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 did not succeed From searching the forum, I then tried removing .NET Framework 4.5.1 and again retrying the upgrade. This gave exactly the same result. I don't understand why Logos 6 was trying to install 4.5 when 4.5.1 was

My 2p worth: Here, on a scale of 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest) is how I value enhancements. 10: Improve Stability Logos crashes perhaps once per week for me, which is too much. 9: Improve Performance Startup times of several minutes are too long, Logos seems to spend time synchronising my library every startup, then downloads and indexes. • CP and Prepub Orders May Offset Your L6 Upgrade Price

Whilst pricing up a Logos 6 upgrade, I noticed the little * that means the work is not yet ready but the licence is included now. When I checked these I found that many were CP and Prepub works I already had on order. Since these would be cancellable once I ordered my upgrade the nett upgrade cost would be reduced accordingly. When I added in the several

  • Re: What are the plans for more Reverse Interlinears?
Here's a list of all the existing RI's (except for Reverse Interlinear of RSV New Testament which I don't own yet):
I believe the NIV84 RI is only for the NT. I'd like to see the Anglicised NIV get an RI. It's particularly galling that it costs more than the American version and we get less features. Hope that one

  • Re: UBS Handbooks in Logos 6

Thanks Graham, that does indeed explain what the missing volumes are. However, it doesn't explain why my dynamic price for the 55-volume OT+NT is £10 more than my dynamic price for 20-volume NT and 35-volume OT bought separately. The content is the same either way. Anyone have any ideas or should I ask sales on this?

  • UBS Handbooks in Logos 6

I'm trying to understand the dynamic pricing of UBS Handbooks as included in Logos 6 Platinum. The product says 55 resources, yet the popup by the green icon says I own 56 of 61 resources. My dynamic price shown is £62.02 for the UBS. If I look at the UBS Handbooks (55 resources) separately that is also £62.02 yet UBS NT (20 resources) plus UBS OT

Thanks Mark. As luck would have it, I took advantage of the Daily Deal yesterday and, when tagging that resource, it got my other tags back without having to issue the sync manually.

Thanks for everyone who's tried to help on this. I've allowed the update to the latest version and an update of resources but still don't have my tags so Im going to try the Mark Barnes' approach.
It's possible that reverting to an earlier image has done the same - but that rather depends on what you mean by "revert to an image

  • Where are tags stored?

I had a power outage a few days ago whilst using Logos so I decided to revert to an image of a couple of months ago in case something had got corrupted. After switching to the old image I decided not to download the updates offered (i.e. those released since the image had been made) because the Logos 5 forum says the current release is dodgy and I wanted

I'd understood from a prior thread that they would be giving us the option to omit the adverts. Could we have confirmation from Logos please? Many apps give a free ad-ridden version plus a paid-for version without apps. Most of us have spent a massive amount on the books for this Logos app and it really grates to be forced to see Logos adds on the way

If you go into the resource options (top left hand corner), there is an option "Show Locator Bar". Ticking that option has solved the missing contents on many of my resources.

I was looking at Anglican Bronze and was really surprised to see the following A Catholic Commentary on Holy Scripture The Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition Early Church Fathers Special Catholic Edition (37 vols.)
That's funny because I nearly did the exact same thing--as I was moving through the list, I passed over it and must have just caught the name of Heiser, prompting me to take a closer look.
Since Logos are the publisher, maybe they should choose a less offputting title if they want to sell many copies the resource?
