I am using Windows 10, but I am wanting to do exactly what you mention; have my resource files on an SD card that has larger capacity. How did you get Logos to load only the program files on C drive and the resources on a separate, exernal drive?

This moves the whole program to a different drive. I only want the resource files (my books) on a separate drive, with the program itself on the C drive. Can that be done?

  • Can location for data files be different from program files?

I have purchased a mini computer/tablet running Windows 10 and am wanting to run the regular Logos rather than the tablet version. The internal drive of the computer is too small to hold all of books I have purchased (over 20gb.), and I need to have the book files reside on an SD card that I insert in the computer. Can this be done? If so, how? Thanks

  • Re: Advance Notice: Logos Ending Windows XP Support October 26, 2012

Very disappointed. I am an educator and cannot in the midst of a semester take the time to upgrade my system from XP. I wish someone would have had the foresight to announce this more than six weeks ahead of time. Providing such a small window of time does not seem appropriate, and the rationale that it takes time and resources to continue XP does not

Tried it, but all it does is remove the character with the question mark altogether.

I tried turning off the citation option and it copies some of the verse but still leaves off some letters. For example, in Heb. 12:21, the fourth word (impf of eimi), when I copy it to WP the first letter, eta, is replaced with a question mark. Here is what I get: ?ν

WorPerfect can handle Unicode. In fact, one of the options WP gives for pasting is Unicode. I have tried to paste using the Unicode option but this still doesn't work.

  • Problem copying Greek text into Wordperfect

I use WordPerfect (ver. X4), and am unable to copy and paste Greek text into a document. I am able to paste Greek text fine into MS Word, but when I try to paste into WP nothing happens. I have also tried using the ctrl+alt+B command which has an option to copy for WordPerfect. While this did copy the Greek text, it did so with no spaces between words

  • Logos 4 extremely slow to load

It seems that in the last couple of weeks Logos 4 has been loading much slower. It has been taking around three to four minutes from the time I click on the Logos 4 icon until the program is ready to go. While it has never been especially fast, it seems like it has slowed down significantly. One thing I noticed is that every time I start the program

  • Can note files from L3 be moved to L4?

Is there a way that the note files composed in L3 can be moved to L4? If so, how can this be done?

  • Word count in Info window

In L3 the info window could be set to give the word count as part of the information given for Greek words that were being hovered over when working with the Greek NT. I can't find out how to do this in L4 and was wondering if it is still an option. I really liked this feature and hope it is available in L4.

  • Re: Passage Guide keeps changing

I was actually wondering about being able to rename the custom template I created using the "make a new guide" template, not simply naming a report for a particular passage. Can the custom template I created be opened, changed, and then renamed so that it is available for use as a custom guide or do I have to create an entirely new custom guide if I

  • Re: Passage Guide keeps changing

Thanks, this was helpful. I created a custom passage guide, but was wondering one more thing. Is it possible to load one of the custom created guides, change it in some way, and then save it? With custom Layouts I know this can be done but couldn't figure out how to do this with the custom Guides.

  • Passage Guide keeps changing

I have manually set the different items and order of items I want displayed in the Passage Guide but it changes back to the original default items and order each time I open or close it. I went into the "change template" window and even when I made changes to the template it goes back to the original default items and order. How can the Passage Guide

  • How to advance verse by verse in Bibles

When I am doing Bible study/translation I like to progress one verse at a time and have all other resources follow along. In L4 I have tried using the down arrow on the keyboard, the scrolling wheel on my mouse, the arrows on the side of the reading pane, and I cannot find out a way to have the Bibles progress one verse at a time without actually going

  • How to change method of progression within Bible resource

In Libronix 3 while in a Bible resource the method of progressing through by clicking the arrow in the reading pane could be changed to book, chapter, verse, markup, etc. I can't find out how to change this setting in Logos 4. Any help would be appreciated.
