  • The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge in Logos 8

I recently updated to Logos 8. Today I discovered a change in the way "The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge" operates. Typically, when using this resource, I simply had to hover my mouse over the Scripture reference and the corresponding verse would appear. However, today I discovered that, instead of the Scripture reference appearing, a comment

  • Re: Linking NA27 to BDAG

That was it!!! I had NA27 "without morphological tagging" opened. I did not realize there was more than one version. When I switched to the other version it worked just like before! Thank you so much!

  • Re: Linking NA27 to BDAG

Thanks for the quick reply Mark. I did this. I even made it the very first item. The Lexham Lexicon is not even in my priorities. Same thing happens: When I double click on a word from NA27, Logos opens the Lexham lexicon to that word. I used to have it set up with BDAG, but I don't know what happened. Any other suggestions?

  • Linking NA27 to BDAG

Does anyone know how to link NA27 with BDAG so that when I double-click a word in NA27 it automatically opens BDAG to that word? In the past, I would pull up NKJV and NA27. When I highlighted a word in NKJV, it would highlight the equivalent Greek word in NA27. Then, if I double-clicked the word in NA27, Logos would automatically open BDAG. It would

  • Re: BUG: Copy Bible Verse broken

I agree Kevin, I use the copy and paste feature for my sermons all the time. It is my most used feature in sermon prep! After the update, the "copy and paste" button does not work. However, I found that I can still click "copy" then go back to my Word document and click paste. I really hope this problems gets resolved.

  • Re: L6 Sympathetic highlighting on a Mac

After much frustration, I figured out that I had not selected, "Links to open panels" in the visual filters options. Problem solved! Thanks Bob for trying to help!

  • L6 Sympathetic highlighting on a Mac

I watched a webinar a few days ago concerning sympathetic highlighting. It demonstrated that, after double-clicking the Gr. word in the Gr. NT, the Scripture reference to that word would be highlighted in BDAG. Mine does not. It DOES however work with "The Complete Word Study Dictionary." Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

  • Logos 6, Yosemite, and Customer Service

Does anyone know if Logos or Apple is any closer to resolving the Yosemite downloading issue? I have been a Logos customer for years and have never experienced a problem like this. After upgrading (if that is what you want to call it) to L6, I have had nothing but problems. I can only take Logos' word that it is an Apple/Yosemite issue. Right now I

  • Re: Pronunciation - Pronunciation broken

Bradley, Thank you for this message. I am a Mac user. Before upgrading to Logos 6, the pronunciation icon would appear next to the Greek words in the exegetical guide as well as in the "Information" panel. Now the icon is no longer there in either location. Glad to hear that it is being resolved!

After upgrading to Logos 6, I no longer even see the icon. Further, I tried typing "show pronunciation" in the command window, but I don't get the options shown below. : (
