• Re: Still using L3? Prefer L3?
Notes is the big reason I still use L3. I expect to continue using L3 when import of notes is available since the L4 notes may still need further tweaking. I like some things about L4, but would have been quite happy not to have had it for another year or two while it was all completed. I have stopped buying resources for
What about using favourites and folders as a way of organizing Notes (and other things such as Clippings)? See Mark Barnes' videos on sermon prep on the wiki ... In some ways this offers more power than Notes in L3 as you can add other stuff to Favourites.
I looked at this video when it was posted. It might work
Edit: Try holding the Ctrl key down as you click on the link. This is how you follow a link in the note's rich text editor.
The link does work if I hold down the control key. If this is the way the note editor was designed, I would say that this is another example of L4 notes being downgraded from L3. We did not

Because I have copyrighted data in this note, I am not going to post it. I will email it to you if you promise to delete it once you are done with it.
Hi Tom, To clarify, are you saying that external links in your L3 notes are lost after they're imported into L4? Thanks, Melissa
It all depends on your definition of the word 'lost.' I can see them, but they are not working.

  • Bug(#2): importing L3 notes

After importing my notes, some of the formation has been lost. Here is a screen print of L3. Note how the link to an external website, scripture verse, author, and brief note are on different lines. Here is a screen print of L4. Note how the scripture verse is listed twice, and how the data is on the same line.
The system is so different that we couldn't import the v3 workspaces. They were based on overlapping windows, and we now use a tiling system. Sorry!
This is one my big gripes about L4. I have several hundred workspaces (one for each day in the lectionary plus special services). Why should I have to redo all of my
Just curious... Anyone out there who is finding it hard or even impossible to bring themselves to adopt L4? I am using L3 about 99+% of the time. I open L4 every once in a while, but I usually regret doing so because it just reminds me of what it's not. Not just that's it's not L3...but that it lost so much of what I love
Prioritization makes this way down the list for me for the reasons above.
Kevin, I do agree with Dan and MJ. Accessing my notes via the bible creates more work for me. I like all of my notes concerning a particular topic/bible verses in one spot. This way I can keep reading my notes without going back to the bible
I wonder what it would take for Logos to partner with Microsoft to create a special version of OneNote that integrates into Logos 4 , with all the linking and search capabilities that everyone wants. Of course I'm envisioning a Logos add-in resource that would be available to purchase . Not sure if it's "do-able" but it would

As a new user to Logos I just wanted to get a general concensus as to what are some of the better commentaries available. I currently have the Calvin Commentary on pre-pub and am really excited about getting in to it. Jason
As for OT Reverse Interlinears, at present they are all aligned with the Andersen-Forbes Analyzed Hebrew Text.
Question, did you provide footnotes when the translators used a text (like the LXX) that diverged from the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia?
