Tom, thanks for sharing your insights. Some background might be helpful on the Chaplain's package. Having been a credentialed chaplain myself (serving 12 law enforcement agencies, local to federal), I now work at Logos as a product manager. As such I helped design the Chaplain’s base package. We purposed it to address the

Well, people who are suffering should not be happy. (Was Jesus 'happy' when he was suffering?)

And the $0.99 book is Walter Brueggemann's David’s Truth: In Israel’s Imagination and Memory. Two very good books by Brueggemann IMHO.

They hold pretty important role in decision making too. Chaplains in military branches also do weddings. these books helps.
Yes we do
A new package called the "Chaplain's Base Package" is now available. I know that this has been reported before. I am not sure if it has been fixed or the bug has come back. My Verbum Icon is now gone after an update: As you can see, I now have the Window's default white icon for Verbum.
"Refute" was a bad choice of words if you don't want to start a debate, since it begs the question by assuming refutation is possible and available. Perhaps you're looking for books that "interact with" Ehrman from a conservative perspective?
A very good way to articulate it. Agree or disagree, Ehrman knows his stuff
Before Logos adds anti-Ehrman books to its stable, they need to resolve the problem of not offering an Ehrman Collection.

However, I personally wouldn't see "refuting Ehrman" as a good topic for a church setting.

The What Are they Saying About series was carried at our seminary bookstore, and I have the 4 Gospel books in print - they are very good and were hepful to me in my papers. This will be an excellent addition to your Logos library!
Thanks, I missed this prepub. I agree, this is a good addition to our Logos' library.
I'd gladly give up half of the features of logos if you could speed it up. I have a nearly brand new lap top and still get so tired of waiting on Logos.
Hi Josh, I agree that Logos is a slow program. It is my understanding that the slowness comes from the platform they used to create L4 (and L5) - WPF. You can see many

I was trying to edit my last post, but I keep getting an error. What you will get with the new L5 engine is the bug fixes that they did not put into L4. You will also get any new functionality in L5 that does not require any new resources (which if I remember correctly is not a huge list).
I hope I am reading this correctly. I am using Logos 4 now, does it mean that I can download Logos 5 (the free version), and still be able to 'import' in my entire library set from Logos 4 into Logos 5? Is this legal? Thanks guys.
