  • Re: Preparing for a total system restore.

I thought on Windows 7 that using 3rd party Defrag tools actually caused more problems and that you were supposed to let the OS handle this exclusively. At least thats what I remember from when Windows 7 first came out. Have things changed? Because my laptop which is o ly a few months old and 3rd Generation I7 Ivy Bridge is getting very slow for disk

  • Re: NICOT/NT vs. Anchor Yale Bible???

You can make decent money but not the first couple of years usually. It is not for everybody. If you have a family you will be apart for long periods and miss birthdays and other special events. On the other hand I enjoy my job most days. It's the only job I know where I can listen to audiobooks and sermons all day long and get paid for it. Lol. If

I went with NICOT/NT. Got it for $1399. I admit tho I was hoping for a better price since i just upgraded to Diamond with some other goodies at 2K AND I called during the sale of a lifetime. Haha. I am also one of those underwhelmed by the sale after such a grand statement. Blessings to all.

Thank you David for the contrasting sample. Thats just what I was looking for. NICOT/NT it will be for me. i am not interested in Biblical scholars debating and making published counter points to each others work. I want to know that particular authors opinion on the biblical text. Maybe some day I will be interested in textual criticism and the like

  • NICOT/NT vs. Anchor Yale Bible???

I upgraded from L4 Platinum to L5 Diamond just last week. I have been out of the loop for a while. Haha. I was wondering what the forum members thoughts are on NOCOT/NT versus The Anchor Yale Bible. I am a laymen, a simple truck driver and Logos is a blessing to me because it is difficult to attend a church, any church on any kind of regular basis.

  • Re: Newbie question: what do I need to install?

If you are just wanting to purchase and read the one resource, then yes the core engine will allow you to do that. If you have a iPad or iPhone the iPda especially would be better suited to just reading if you have no other resources to link or search.

I have to say that I am a lay person. I am just a truck driver. I have the Platinum package now. I started out in 2006 with Scholars and I just took advantage of the wonderful sale on the NICOT/NICNT. I don't often get to attend a church with my job and Logos helps me answer my questions and has been such a amazing blessing to me. I also use the iPad

[quote user="Kenneth Neighoff"]I am just curious about this. I understand that the old file is replaced by the new file. Now if one has highlights and notes attached to the old file, do those markups stay in the new file or are they gone forever. [quote user="Kevin Becker"]I'm using Beta 3 exclusively on my laptop. It has been fairly stable. • How close to release

I need to know about how close beta 3 is to the actual 4b RTM. I would really, really like to have some of the added functionality in the beta. But, 1. I drive a truck and would not have access to a good high speed connection with any frequency. And 2. This laptop is my only machine so I would need to add another user account. I will add that I only
