[quote user="Gordon Jones"] If you like this month's free and heavily discounted Mobile Ed courses, consider bidding on Mobile Ed OT300 Old Testament Theology by Bruce K. Waltke: www.logos.com/product/149558/mobile-ed-ot300-old-testament-theology . Waltke is a really big name in Old Testament studies, it's a whopping 16 hour course, and it's already

[quote user="NB.Mick"] The third thing I would buy this month, if I didn't own it already (and this one since 2012!): Read Greek in 30 days or less . This mainly is because somehow my buying mood confuses owning a resource with actually working it through. There have been many times 30 days since I put this into my library, but I still can't read Greek

  • How to remove "Clippings File" from popup menu

No matter what layout I'm using or what resource I'm referencing, if I right-click on a word in or select a string of words in a resource, one of the options that always appears (and at the top of the list in it's section of the popup menu) is an option to add a clipping to one of my clippings files (always the same clippings file). I regularly use

I don't have that course to see if I can duplicate this specific problem, but I have had a similar problem a few times with other courses. Sometimes, the problem has resolved itself after I simply moved forward or backward in the course sequence and letting another segment play briefly before moving back to the problem segment. Other times, it has resolved

  • Re: Logos 8 Wishlist

For two-finger scrolling purposes on a touchpad, I would like to see ALL scrollable popup windows become the focus of the touchpad. As it is in Logos 7, it's a mix. Some scrollable popup windows do become the focus of the touchpad and some don't . Worse, when the popup window does not become the focus, attempting to use two-finger scrolling sometimes

In the popup window that appears when clicking on a word in an interlinear Bible, I would like to see the addition of "pronunciation" as one of the options listed when a Hebrew or Greek word is selected/highlighted in the popup window.

Very, very nice, Randy! You said you're not a "designer", but I think you must be. Maybe not by profession, but for sure at heart. Thanks for this very appealing and easy-on-the-eyes makeover.

  • Re: O'Brien commentaries and Academics

[quote user="Michel Pauw"] I thought Logos wouldn't remove Peter T. O'Brien's commentary from our library (and I think they don't have the right to do that, since I bought the book). But now it seems they did and I wasn't aware of it... Does any of you still have O'Brien's commentary on Hebrews (Pillar), Ephesians (Pillar) or Philippians (NIGTC)? [

I love your suggestion, MJ. I rarely find the timeline helpful as it is now. I can't recall how long it's been since I tried to use it, but do know I quit/gave up without satisfaction.

  • Re: Value of the Social-Science Commentary Set

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. The product description for the set sounded interesting and gave me the impression the set would approach background info from a little different angle than the resources I already have, but I found myself disappointed in the content based on the sample pages. In addition to the resources listed in my original

  • Value of the Social-Science Commentary Set

I have a fair number of Bible background related resources, but I'm wondering if the Social-Science Commentary set that's on sale as part of the Logos Feature Expansion Cultural Concepts Collection would add much value to what I currently have. Some of the resources I own include the following. IVP Bible Background Commentaries (OT & NT) Zondervan

  • What's Causing the Hilighting of "beginning" in NIV Bible

In my NIV Bible, the word "beginning" in Genesis 1:1 is highlighted in what I would describe as a Goldenrod color and I can't figure out why it is nor how to get rid of it. I don't have any highlight of the same color in my highlighting palettes, but I tried selecting the word and doing a highlight erase. No change. I checked the visual filters and

It hasn't always been that way for me either, but the two different sizes have been present for so long now, I can't say when it first started happening. At one point I wondered if the two sizes were a result of different file types that were affected in different ways by screen resolution, but no matter what settings I use, the two sizes remain and
