• Re: Theme for Logos Forums 1.0

Randy, I too have been using your theme for several months now and have found it to be a major visual improvement over the default forum interface. Much easier on the eyes and a real pleasure to use. I have now installed your search script and am delighted to be able to do my Google searches of the forum from within the forum itself. Thank you for your

  • Re: Permissions for Mobile Ed documents

I've also wondered why following a group is necessary in order to download documents? What is Faithlife's incentive for this requirement? For the most part, I have opted to miss out on these document download opportunities after realizing that following groups results in ongoing emails from each group. My email cup already overflows--I really don't

  • Re: Compare Waltke's book "An Old testament Theology" to his OT300 ME course

Based on the feedback so far, it does sound like the book and the course follow a similar path, but with the book likely spending more time for a closer look at things along the way. On the flip side, I suppose that with the passing of 11 years since the book was published, Waltke may have gained a few thoughts and insights not in the book that might

  • Compare Waltke's book "An Old testament Theology" to his OT300 ME course

Does anyone have Bruce Waltke's 2007 book titled An Old Testament Theology and his recently released Mobile Ed Course titled OT300 Old Testament Theology ? Based on the table of contents of the two resources, I have the impression that the ME course is modeled largely on the book, but I'm also thinking that at 1,000+ pages, the book will have more content

But I sure wish Faithlife would treat highlights and notes as the separate functional entities they really are and allow us to alter one without unwanted affects on the other. I thought that was finally going to be the case with the new notes tool. Sadly, not so.
And I know this doesn

Thanks again everyone for the feedback. I can deal with the inconvenience of the process if that's as good as it gets. I just didn't want to repeatedly deal with it that way only to find out later there was a way to avoid it.

Dave, Graham, and JT ...thank you all for your efforts to get me on track. I know that can be a significant challenge. While in the process of reviewing some prior studies, I decided to change a lot of my highlights from a fairly simple underlining approach to a more complicated multi-color approach. As a result, I've been using CTRL+Shift+K a lot to

I realize now that the actual note still exists even though the note icon disappears, but that's kind of like having a footnote at the end of a chapter or book without any indicator in the text that there is a footnote
Actually it doesn't exist assuming it was completely within the text

Thank you, Graham. That sounds encouraging, but I must be doing something wrong because is still "bundling" and removing both the highlight and note when using CTRL+Shift+K on just the highlight. In a sense, I replicated the original scenario I posted, but I did it from scratch so everything including the original highlighting and note was done within
