  • Re: 8.4 - video anomalies

Thanks for the reply, Dave. And thank you Bill for letting me borrow your thread for moment. I'll start a new thread if I have any more questions about my setup, but wanted to post here what I found on my system in case it's of any help to Bill. Both my Intel and NVIDIA control panels indicate they are set up to let the application make the call regarding

[quote user="Dave Hooton"] I can't say which setting, but Vertical Sync seems a likely candidate. In NVIDIA Control Panel > Global Settings , is it set to "Use the 3D Application Setting"? Otherwise, click Restore . In Program Settings for Logos, is Vertical Sync set to "Use Global Settings"? In the Control Panel > Intel Graphics Settings >

Thanks for the "Courses" tool suggestion, Petah. I don't know if that tool can be incorporated into a layout of my own design, but I'll look into it. In the meantime, I'll hold off on making a suggestion in UserVoice for this feature unless/until there are enough replies here to suggest sufficient interest from other users. Again, thanks for the "Courses

[quote user="PetahChristian"] I probably wouldn't sync the two, as I would find it distracting for some other pane to be scrolling as the video played. How I tend to approach it is to watch the video, then read the transcript and make notes or highlights, and finally watch the video again. It may take more time, but I find that it helps to hear the

  • Enable "Active" Linking between ME Video and ME Script

The ability to link Mobile Ed "scripts" to Mobile Ed "videos" so they stay in sync (at least at the TOC level of the videos), seems like a no-brainer to me. But while a person can set up the linkage between script and video, it accomplishes nothing. When going through the videos for a course, there are times I want to pause the video and have a look

  • Re: PREFERRED BIBLE TRANSLATION

Also, while it's nice that someone new to Logos is prompted to select a preferred Bible when they are installing Logos, I'm curious -- does the installation process tell them how to change their preferred Bible later on? Hopefully it does--and hopefully they'll be able to remember how to do it months/years later, or... think to document it.

  • Tax on Faithlife Connect Subscription?

On my Faithlife Connect subscription that just renewed, there is a tax charge ($99.99 + tax). On my previous subscription charge, there was no tax (just the $99.99). It's not a big deal, but I'm wondering whether I should have been charged tax before but wasn't, or... if I'm incorrectly being charged tax now, or... if some law(s) changed which now require
