After some analysis searches displayed nothing, tried context menu Morph Search:
Good idea. But even that is empty for me. I went to ESV, Ep 4:21. Right-clicked truth, selected Lemma > Morph Search for altheia. Analysis view is empty, Verses and Aligned look good.
Topics in the PG is now active as well.
When I search my entire library, I see topics as well. When I search a subset of my library, such as resources that I have tagged as BibleDictionary, I don't. Why is that?

Still studying Ephesians. Found a cross-reference to Colossians. When to HCSB and entered the ref (Co 1:23). Read it. Then read the verse in several other translations (by clicking the tabs in the same panel). Then looked at my history. For some reason, the history thinks I've been in John 10:1. It's lost.
There was an error in the sync trying to upload. I think it was trying to upload the layout.
Does that imply I did something wrong? Or that I should do something different in the future?
Has everything been fine since then? Are you able to open L4 as you had in the past on all machines? [/quote
Try dragging the Library icon to a new panel, or typing "show library in a new window" in the command bar.
Neither of those make a difference. Neither does reading view.

Me, too. I have a less than 1 year old MacBook, so I'm assuming the problems not my underpowered machine.
Are you using Windows too and if so which version of Logos 4?
I haven't used the Windows version since around alpha 15 or so. I couldn't tell you what version it was (other than Logos 4) as I blew away VirtualBox once I thought L4 for Mac was stable enough. I'm currently on the most current version of L4 for Mac, Beta

One of the things I don't like about Wierbe's "Be" series is that the title doesn't help me know what book of the Bible the book is about. Seems like this is a good place for some metadata. Is there a way to see that when looking at my library, short of adding my own tags to everything?
-
edit the title
Yeah, I had seen the subject and agree that it is a mess. And editing the title is a good idea, certainly easy to read. I was hoping for something even cleaner, something that would let me find all my commentaries on a given book at once. Sigh. I suppose I'll have to add my own tags after all. Seems

So I'm studying in Eph 4 today. I have the Lexham SGNT open to 4:17, and I right click on the second word in the sentence, "sun." In the context menu, it informs me this is an inferential conjunction, and offers to open the Lexham SGNT Glossary for me, so I can see what an inferential conjunction is. When I do, my NA27 Interlinear is closed. None of

I had a dozen books or so open in 3 panels, and I thought it might be more efficient to rearrange them. In the Layouts window there is a layout called "vertical" which has 3 vertical panels, and that looked about right, so I clicked it. This is what I got. Was that supposed to happened? I doesn't look at all like the picture in the Layouts menu.
-
The layout icon is not to indicate three litteral tiles but vertical tiles.
Ok, but in the scenario above, it didn't create any vertical tiles, regardless of the literal number that the icon may or may not represent. It created a checkboard of panels. And if readability is really the issue, um, well, I don't see how

So I'm chasing down a cross-reference for Eph 4:22, which unsurprising is in Colossians, specifically Col 3:10. I'm reading this verse in various translations, and I stop in the NET Bible to read of the footnotes, as I often find them helpful. This one is a long footnote, apparently too long to be completely displayed in the tool tip. But here's the
If you click on the footnote the entire text (with a scrolling bar) comes out in the "Information" window.
That's a great answer, Fernando. The trick is that one must have information panel already open, which I typically do not. But now I know. Thanks.

> Scroll buttons appear when there are more tabs than fit Please, please, please tell me how to disable this feature and go back to previous way of having tabs shrink themselves! Formerly, if there were more tabs than fit, the tabs shrunk themselves by using abbreviations instead of full names, and if that didn't work, they used an icon of the book
how it's supposed to work
And, David, what's more interesting is this: as I look around and work, I see that sometimes that *is* how it works. I think I observe this: upon application startup, the method that "shrinks the tabs" is not being called, so that tabs are at full size (and stuck there). But if another event

Is it (or will it be) possible to export a reading plan to another calendar, such as iCal or the one in Entourage?
