• A21 Bug - Reading View out of sync

First, let me say reading view is pretty cool. The screen space on my 13" MacBook is limited (to say the least), and I have often wanted a quick and easy way to go full screen to read something and then go back. So I really like this feature. Most of the time when I go from normal to full, everything is good. The information displayed in both views

  • A21 Issue - Grey Space Remains

Ok, I was checking out the new features in Copy Bible Verses when I ran into a problem. First, I have a layout which utilizes all the space on my screen: When i select copy Bible verses, it pushes everything to the left and starts a new panel. Ok. But when I close the copy Bible verses panel, it leaves the grey space. The screen doesn't go back to my

  • A21 Question - Passage Analysis

    > Passage Analysis Morph River and Version River toolbars are now in and working. Will there be a key to tell me what the various colors refer to?

  • A20 Bug - Layout not saving some settings

I must say I was quite impressed with A20 this morning. Most of the time I've been working with L4 on my 13 inch MacBook. But the screen is rather small, so this morning I decided to work on my 20 inch iMac instead. I fired it up and selected my Eph 4 layout, and it set everything right up! The panels were even proportionate to the larger screen. Nice

  • Re: A21 – New Alpha, Same Ole Grey Panel!
Still getting the "blank panel treatment" when opening commentaries.
Yeah, I get these, too, usually on interlinears and clause outliners, but sometimes on Greek lexicons. Started in A20 or 21.
Are you actually experiencing this in Alpha 21? 'Cause it works when typing a reference and hitting enter for me.
Nice! This works now for commentaries and interlinears, etc. This is a handy feature (and should have made the release notes!).

  • A20 Bug - Show Page Numbers doesn't show page numbers (on startup)In

I need page numbers in order to document my studies, so I was super excited when L4 Mac added the ability to "Show Page Numbers." Not the most ideal way to get them, but good enough. However, I've recently noticed that when I first start A20 in the morning, the page numbers for BDAG are not showing up. The checkbox is still checked, but no page numbers

  • Re: Footnote text in search result does not match footnote text in the open resource

I reported this once and was told it was a feature, not a bug. It didn't really make sense to me, but apparently since the Windows version does it, that's gospel (pardon the bad pun) and settled the matter. I, too, wish they'd reconsider.

  • A21 Bugs - Searching isn't Finding

So, I'm reading Hoehner's stupendous commentary on Ephesians, and he observes that the first 2 words of Eph 4:21, "ei ge," are together, they can be concessive. Well, for the life of me I can't remember what concessive means, so I used A21 to search Wallace's "Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics" to see what I can see. It allegedly finds 3 matches: Here

  • Re: A22 Search > Bible > Analysis - It's still empty for me
could the problem be that you are searching an English text for a Greek word?
When I'm doing a word study, one of the things I want to know is where else in this book the author uses this same word. And where in other books by the same author is the word used. And finally where else in the same testament is the word

  • Re: A21 Bugs - Searching isn't Finding

It looks like A22 has fixed one of the three issues. 1) Ok, I think the real problem is that the hyperlink in the search isn't going to right place in the text. When I search for concessive, I get a hit in the "predicative accusative" section, specifically GGBTB 8.2.1.4.c.1. Yet when I click the blue hyperlink, the words "predicative accusative," it

  • A22 Search > Bible > Analysis - It's still empty for me

Release notes say: Search > Analysis View now has Column Auto-sizing, Column Re-sizing, etc. So I went to search > Bible > analysis and ran a search. I get an empty screen. Maybe I'm on the wrong search? Maybe it doesn't work for Greek word searches? The other 3 views (Grid, Verses, Aligned) work fine.

Any chance of revisiting the underlying design decision? Or is that beyond the mandate of the Mac dev team?

  • A20 Bug - Lexham texts show LN links but won't open them

I have opened my current text, Eph 4:17ff, in both Lexham SGNT and Lexham Clausal Outlines of the NT. Both display hyperlinks to numbers that I am pretty certain are Louw-Nida numbers. The numbers are blue; when the mouse hovers over them, the cursor changes from an arrow to a pointing finger. But when I click the links, nothing happens. I suppose it

  • A20 How do I open all my fav Greek lexicons to a specific word?

Back in the Dark Ages when I used Libronix 3, I could double-click a Greek word in the NA27 Interlinear and it would automatically look up that word in my 4 favorite Greek lexicons. Can this be done in the New World Order known as A20? If this feature is NYI (Not Yet Implemented), what's the fastest workaround that you have found? TIA!

  • A20 Bug - Empty space not filled when last book moved

So I have 4 panels like so, but I'd really like to combine the 2 big ones into 1. So I drag and drop them until I have only one left (BDAG), like so: But when I drag BDAG over, it causes 2 problems: 1) Empty space not filled (and I don't know how to fill it). 2) All my books in the center panel go blank. All of 'em. Now what?
