• Re: The new Norwegian Bible translation

I have seen some of the errors before. I believe I have worked through some of them, but unfortunately I do not remeber how that went. I am sure working the google a bit will yield some help. The broken link to MF was an information page explaining the copyright issue, if that is what you are asking. Fortunately, it can still be read through the WayBackMachine

The UserVoice petition was last updated back in 2014, which is half a decade ago at the time of writing this reply. Concluding from this silence, I think it is safe to assume that nothing more is going to happen anytime soon. So a more relevant question is whether there are any workarounds. I have been unsuccessful in getting the system TTS to work

The source was a txt-document, originally prepared by SigveSaker, which I downloaded from a webpage at MF. Unfortunately this webpage is no longer available. I have a copy on my computer, however, which I can send to you if you like. Send me an PM or an SMS with your e-mail address if you´d like me to do that. But it may not be that useful to

  • Re: BUG: Why does Logos discriminate against the Lutherans (with regards to the Book of Concord)?

Ok, so I have been attempting to make an overview over all compileable references to the Book of Concord. I have gathered them into a PBB Word document. 1374.PBB-BOC-References.docx The datatype seems to be built on the Triglot version. I do not have that version in Logos, but I have consulted the online version (bookofconcord.org) as far as that goes

I apologize for the unexplained shorthand: AC means Augsburg Confession The roman numeral refers to the main part of the confession (I or II) and then article number (I-XXVII). The part (I or II) is really not needed, as the article numbers are unique throughout. The latin numeral refers to paragraph number. Ap means Apology of the Augsburg Confession

Sorry for bumping up an old topic, but I do have a question. I have only the Kolb-Wengert-Arand version of the Book of Concord. LLS:16.0.13 2017-03-07T17:12:32Z KLBCNCRD.logos4 Even though the issue raised by MJ.Smith seems to have been fixed, I still have a couple of minor problems. At least for Ap IV:122-400 and XII:98-178, the milestones do not fit

  • Re: Feature request: edit note without pop up

I want to second this suggestion, for two additional reasons. - First, the editing window is much smaller than it could be. On a small screen, the real estate is quite valuable. - Second, if you are so unfortunate that you touch the screen outside the dialog, it will be taken as "cancel" and you loose all your changes. There is no undo for that.
I've had no problems on computer Android and iPad. But I downloaded the Bibles for both (via L6 on the computer) before i first opened them.
I downloaded, but no luck yet. Then I remembered that my Logos for android might not be the latest version. So I headed over to google play. Now I am running the latest version
But I have problems with 2011 (both norsk and nynorsk version) on my ipad. 2006 versions both languages works. When I open the bibles they are empty (white screen, but with the title of the book as heading). Anyone else having problems with this?
Yes. So I got this email from Logos:
We are about to begin processing Pre-Pub orders for Norwegian Bible Collection (4 vols.). This product is scheduled to ship on 7/13/2016.* ... *Note: If the necessary funding for this product drops below 100% (due to cancelled pre-orders), the actual shipping date could be delayed. • Re: Payment Plans and you

As I remember it, when Logos first introduced payment plans, they did not want to pressure anyone to purchase something that they could not afford. For that reason a minimum purchase amount was required for getting a payment plan, and they were all rather short. A six month maximum, if memory serves me right. So when Logos now requires a 25% initial
The added bonus to using Logos Book Cache is that they are saving the $5/mo. payment plan fee every month
Yeay, and even better if you get a dedicated savings account at your bank. You´ll collect interest on your savings, and the money is not bound to Logos, should you wish to buy your books in a different format

  • B100 Audio volume

Hi. Right after the release of B100, there was a post that pointed out that the audio levels for mr. Bock are too low. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/91736/660421.aspx#660421 A Logos employee conceded the point, and said that they would attempt to correct the problem ASAP. The same problem has been reported for NT221, with a similar response from

Maybe we, the users, need to get organized. We could even create a users union, and then *really* vote with our money, for example in cases like this one.

  • Re: Downloading all library to Android - possible?

The help is pretty much this: Don't do it!. One of the great strengths of the mobile platform over the desktop is that you do not need to download all your resources. If you have a base package you are probably only using a fraction of it anyway. The rest is just noise. In the mobile app there is no indexing, because searches are run online. Same goes
David, I've reviewed several of these lessons in the app and it does look like there are discrepancies in the audio levels between the screencasts and Dr. Bock's lecture material. I will have our team look into this first thing Monday morning. We will try to correct it as soon as possible and update the resource. Thank you

  • Suggestion: "Commit to purchase"

Payment plans were first introduced by Logos a few years ago. As I remember it, it was done very carefully, because Logos did not want to push anyone to purchase something that they could not afford. You could only get short term plans, and only for orders above certain amount. It pains me that I did not keep the announcement, so I cannot be too certain
