What is the Default Font in Tools > Program Settings?
Hi Melissa, My Default Font was set to Segoe UI - which, by the way, works fine for just about everything else. I think that might be what was causing the problem. But it does not change when I just set it to the Default font or the Default San Serif font. I

Hello all, I'm one of those who have kept L3 on my computers because of missing features, etc.. I absolutely love L3. . . BUT . . . In the last few months L4 has improved so much (with each update) that I've actually begun using it more than I use L3. For the first time I,m really beginning to see what the potential of L4 is - and I think it has a greater

  • Beta 9 crashes Logos Immediately

Beta 9 crashes immediately as soon as I try to open Logos 4. I have no way to send log files because it won't even open at all. I am running Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit on my laptop which is a Lenovo ThinkPad, model T61 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 CPU running at 2.20GHz. This laptop has 4 GB of ram, and Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M display adapter with 128 MB
Both of you should be able to send logs if you open to a blank layout and then try to access a saved layout.
I know this may seem like a stupid question . . . But, how do you open Logos 4 to a blank layout?

  • Re: Beta 9 crashes Logos Immediately
Hold down the Ctrl key while starting up Logos. It will then present you with the Login screen which has the option to click a checkbox marked "Open to blank layout" (or something along those lines) -- tick that box and you should be able to bypass the crash. Then try opening your saved layout or custom guide or whatever it

  • SUGGESTION: Viewing Search Results

I am using 4.1 Beta 2 (4.10.4.2388) - and I noticed that we now have collapsible search results , which is a feature I've been wanting. Good job Logos! However, the icons (in collapsed mode) are still a little larger than I would like them to be. I would like to suggest that Logos add an option - (mind you I said an OPTION ) - to view the search results
I was thinking that it would be beneficial if some of the more prolific L4 users would start and contribute to a "Best Practices" section of the Wiki. Covering things like: Sermon preparation Lesson preparation Word Studies Proper use of resources Lexicons Dictionaries Background Guides Etc...
I also think this is an

Hi Rosie, Okay, I see now. I hadn't even thought about the fact that those are just links to videos all over the place (on the internet) and actually owned by their creators. And, while the user created videos would be nice to have, in the end, they're not really the most important ones to me right now - since they're about Logos 4 and will probably
I have 64 bit windows 7 and get the UAC warning every time I start L3 even when running as administrator. I have UAC set at 33%. What can be done so I don't get the warnings besides turning UAC off all the way? Thanks, Dean
I'm sorry to say this (and others may disagree) but UAC is one of the first things I turned off
Has anyone ever bought the Learning Logos discs from LearnLogos.com? I have been using Logos for about a year now. I feel I am fairly adept at the basic use of it but now, with the language discs I am inspired to learn every inch of it in order to really enhance by bible study and sermon prep. Is it worth the price? And there
an easy way to do this is to tag them as you want, then you can search/sort by those fields
That's a good work around for now. I'll give that a try. But I still would like to be able to open my Library (viewing everything) and be able to tell - at a glance - which books I have read and which ones I have not. Maybe

I had my mouse cursor on a truncated item for over a minute (with the Information pane showing) and it never brought up a pop-up. So, if it's a long period of time that works for me 'cause I don't want
As I stated in the blog post, the plan is to release it sometime today. We don't have a more specific ETA than that. We announce new versions slightly in advance of the release so you can know why you're getting a download and what it includes.
Okay. I'll wait.

  • New Logos Website - Any Timeline?

I remember that a while ago there was some talk about Logos creating a whole new website - I guess to go along with the new graphic user interface of Logos 4. It sounded like a definite thing they were planning to do. As I remember that talk was coming from Logos. Just wondering if those plans are still alive and if there's an estimated time-line of
