Sorry, but this is not a good enough solution for me. Thanks anyway.

[quote user="Kevin A. In other words, I can't float the window and still be able to highlight the text. Every time I try to use the highlighters

  • Suggestion: Custom Default Layout

Please add the ability to define a "new" customized "default" layout that the user can set to open instead of the current default layout. I would like to be able to type a scripture reference or Bible passage in the passage box on the home page and have a custom layout - of my own making - open and search the Logos 4 resources I have specified. If this

  • Suggestion: For Home Page Bible Study

Hello, I have a suggestion. Please add - to the Home Page Bible Study - the ability to define a "new" customized "default" layout that can be set to open instead of the current default layout which opens automatically when doing a Home Page Bible Study. While doing a Home Page Bible Study - I would like to be able to type a scripture reference or Bible

  • Re: Newbies!!

Hello, I'd describe myself as a "newbie" to Logos, How long you have been a Logos user? I came across Libronix 3 about 4 years ago when I bought the Norman Geisler Apologetics Library at the local Christian bookstore here in town. And I’ve been adding on - one resource at a time - and occasionally using it (although never really learning to use its

  • Active verse - Highlighted Instead of Visual Cues . . .

Hello, I would like to suggest adding an option for identifying the active verse in Logos 4. Currently all we have is a Visual Cue that comes up for a second and then disappears. And that's fine - if that's all you need. But I usually have so much going on in my layout that it's easy to lose track of where I was or what the active verse was. So, I would

  • But what if I still Like Logos 3?

Hey, I like Logos 4, but, I'm finding that I still like Logos 3 as well . I know, I know, Logos 4 can do a few things L3 can't do. I know there are improvements. But there are also some things that they're still working out. So, in the mean time I use them both. When L4 can't do something I revert to L3 and I can get it done. I have several different

OR . . . Maybe - unnecessary graphics - could be removed (or in some cases reduced) from certain areas of the program, like drop-down menu's and the Library pop-ups, etc. There are certain areas in the program that do not need to have all the flashy graphics, the Library pop-ups and drop-down menu's come to mind first. Removing or reducing unnecessary

OR . . . Put them on the users hard drive and have them cached there so that they load almost instantaneously. Just another thought.

  • Re: User Reviews

In addition to user reviews - which would be a great help - I would love to see a sample (just a few pages) of every book that Logos sells on their web site. There are many books on the Logos website that have no sample pages at all (& some that do). Having no sample forces me to go elsewhere on the internet to find a sample. And more than a couple

  • L3 Question: Pictures in Notes?

Does anyone know if it's possible to add pictures to note files in L3? If it's possible - how do you do it? I have tried copy and paste, (only the occasional picture here and there) but pictures don't seem to want to paste into the Notes in L3. So I'm wondering if the pictures have to be in a specific format? Or is it just not possible to put pictures

  • SUGGESTION: The NET Bible Notes - add a viewing pane

Hello, I would like to suggest that Logos make the notes for the NET Bible viewable in a separate pane. What I have in mind is a pane - (which can be turned on and off) - just like the Interlinear view at the bottom of the ESV , and the NASB , and the NKJV . This note pane would be linked to the active verse and would scroll with you when you move from

  • Re: SUGGESTION: The NET Bible Notes - add a viewing pane

Hi Rosie, Yes, I think you got what I was suggesting and why I was suggesting it. The idea would be that it could be turned on or off whenever you need to with just a click . And since it would be a part of the Net Bible pane there would be no need to open Power Lookup since it would already be right there in the resource. Well, I thought it would be
I don't see any good reason that Logos wouldn't unlock it for free...
Except that it's a specific and separately created Logos resource . If it's still available ( and it looks like it is ) I think it would be worth the money (only $20.00). The Notes in The NET Bible are pretty good - I use them a lot & so it would be worth

  • SUGGESTION: Add Option to Auto-hide the Highlighting pane

I don't know about anyone else, but I like to use the markup tools when I'm studying, marking the important words and phrases (in Bibles and Commentaries) - so I use the Highlighting pane frequently. In fact I like leaving the Highlighting pane open for quick access. But one thing that bothers me a little is the fact that the Highlighting pane takes

  • Re: SUGGESTION: Add Option to Auto-hide the Highlighting pane

Can you set up multiple types of highlighting or markup with different keystrokes?; because that would be great for the multiple types that I use. Although I would then have to memorize which keystrokes to use for each type of markup. But still pretty good. Because of that I'd still like to have an option to leave it open and have it auto-hide when

  • SUGGESTION: Add "Set Bookmark Here" to the right click menu

I would like to suggest that Logos add a " Set Bookmark Here " item to the right click menu. The idea would be that you would be reading along in a book and when finished you could just right click in the text where you left off and choose "Set Bookmark Here". There should also be a "Bookmarks" command that can be typed into the command box, which would

  • How do I . . . ?

I would like to set up a Parallel Resource set for the 4 volumes of Unlocking The Bible Story. I have created a collection with only those 4 volumes in it and put a check mark in the "Show In Parallel Resources" box. But the Parallel Resource sets button doesn't even show up when I open Volume 1 of Unlocking the Bible Story. Am I doing something wrong

  • Re: Logos: THANKS For The New Update!

I also have to say a word of thanks. Compared to the many other Bible Software's that I have purchased and used Logos beats them all hands down. Now, don't get me wrong, there are some other pretty good ones out there, but Logos 3 (& now 4) - rendered them all moot for me. Before Logos - in order to do some of the things I want to do with Bible Study
