• PROBLEM: Text Comparison & Link Sets

I don't know if this is a new problem or not, but in L4 (4.0d) when I set my Bible to link set A and then I set Text Comparison to follow it, also in link set A, it does not track with the Bible. I can scroll from one verse to the next, and even beyond that to the following chapters, but Text Comparison just stays on the first verse of the first chapter
I seem to remember it working before.
Never mind. I figured it out. Duh! If you set the links set to "Follow" - it follows, like it's supposed to. Duh!

  • Re: Problem with NET Bible Notes

I just checked on the Logos website and it appears that it is now available for free as one of 3 files you get when you download the L3 version of The NET Bible. At least, it looks that way. If re-downloading The NET Bible doesn't add the separate notes, I'd give Customer Service a call.

  • SUGGESTION: New Evidence That Demands A Verdict

I have several - (and love using) - apologetics resources that are available in my Logos Scholars Gold Library, plus the seperate ones I've purchased for use with the program. There is, however, one that I sorely miss; and that is Josh McDowell's - New Evidence That Demands A Verdict. I consider this book to be one of the finest available apologetics

  • Using Precept Inductive Bible Study visual markups in Logos 3

Does anyone know how to apply the Precept Inductive Bible Study visual markup styles in Logos 3 (Libronix)? It's easy to apply them all at once - or - to set them up for individual words, in Logos 4. But I can't seem to find a way to apply them all at once in Logos 3. I must be missing a step or two because if it's possible I can't figure it out. Is

Okay, maybe I wasn't clear enough in my first post. What I would like to be able to do (in Logos 3) is apply the Precept Inductive Bible Study visual markup styles to a particular word throughout the entire Bible - all at once. For Instance . . . Is there a way to apply the Precept Inductive Bible Study markup style for the word God - to every instance

Thanks for the reply Mark, That's what I thought. I was just hoping. Not a huge deal really. I'll just have to use L4 for my inductive study, which is good because I find myself using L4 more than L3 these days anyway. It just keeps getting better. Now, if Logos would just complete the set of Precept Inductive Bible Study visual markups, I'd be set

  • Re: What happened to the Logos 3 videos/tutorials?

Wow! Even though I use Logos 4, I still love and use Logos 3 (Libronix) as well. I thought that the L3 tutorial videos would remain online for some time to come. I hope Logos will consider putting them back online - (or making them available for download for a period of time) - for those of us who still use L3 and just need to refresh our memory on
Hi, I have the iphone and iPad version of Logos bible software. I was just wondering if there was a very cheap version of logos 4 bible study desktop software by any chance for personal use? Does anyone have any idea at all how much longer it might be until 4.1 goes "gold"? I was just hoping it would be pretty soon.

  • Inline Strongs #'s for AMG's Complete Wordstudy Bible ???

I have a resource call The Complete Word Study Bible: King James Version. I have this resource in L3 and also in L4. In L3, the Strong's numbers are displayed inline with the text. In L4 they are not. The problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to get them to display Inline with the text in L4 like they do in L3? Is this a bug? Or am I just "bugging

  • Question about very old Logos product . . .

Hello all, I have a friend who - a long time ago - bought the Nelson's Electronic Bible Reference Library - Deluxe Edition - for the Logos Library System - and it originally ran on DOS 3.3, Windows 3.1, or Windows 95. Through the years they have been been using this product (and they like it) but with each new upgrade of Windows, they have more and

Okay. Using the Sermon Starter feature - is there a place to gather all your research? I mean, obviously, you won't be able to use everything that comes up in Sermon Starter, so when you pick out relevant search results for your message - is there a place to gather them all together and save them that way? What do you guys do when gathering your relevant

Okay. I typed in Update Resources in the command bar - and it downloaded the rest of my books. (Thanks Graham!) But it never did index anything like it did on my home PC. Is there a way to get it to index? (Thanks for reminding me Philana!)

  • Re: Phrase Concordance

So you can't type in your own phrase? I was trying to do a search on the phrase "in Christ" - and also these variations - "in Christ Jesus" - "in Jesus" - "in Him". I think this concept of who we are "in Christ", and and what we have "in Christ", and what it really means to be "in Christ" is a valid topic for a sermon or Bible Study. But I can't seem

Well, this is what I had to do also - to be able to find them. But what I would really like to be able to do - (mainly in the Topic or Sermon Stater Guide) - is to type in a phrase like "in Christ" and have Logos search my Library for anything that refers to that phrase . And that would include anything that refers to it using different words or phrases

  • SUGGESTION for iPad / iOS version

Hello, I have a suggestion that I believe would improve the iPad/iOS (and maybe all mobile versions) of Logos Bible Software. LOGOS - Please create a nicer, more graphical "Home" page for when you first open the iOS version. When I open Logos on my iPad, I'm presented with what looks like a plain old list of reading plans and devotionals. That's ALL

I guess I should have phrased my question a little bit better. I wasn't only looking for ways to Compile, Collect, and Store material WITHIN Logos - although that would be my preference so that you could use the awesome search capability of Logos at a later date - but rather . . . What methods do you use - (whether inside or outside of Logos) - to compile

The Logos Bible app seems to be working tonight - on my new iPad Air 2. I wonder what the issue was? Because I wasn't sure if it was something on my end or on Logos' end. It would just be interesting to find out.
