I would like to see people post questions that they have and have other people respond with

  • Re: Notes Compromise idea
I don't want to depend on two programs for my notes when the solution is simple, just fix the problem and bring Logos up to the level that many other programs already are at. If you look at other paid for bible programs this is not a problem in most of them, and neither is it in some free bible study programs. It is
What do you think?
I had thought of something like this before also. The note feature in Logos 4 could be programmed to use an "outside" word processor - (i.e.; Word Pad, Word, OpenOffice, etc.) - in which to write and store your notes. These notes would have to be accessible from inside the program though for it to

  • Re: Will 3.0 work on L4?

It should work in L4. If you have L3 installed, you can install Luther's into L3 and then syncronize your licences. That way, the next time you run L4 it will "see" that you have this new resource in L3, and will automatically update to include the Luther's you now have in L3. If you don't have L3 installed any more, you may have to call Logos Customer
you will soon discover that "Bob" - the owner of Logos - does not really see Notes being used in the way you want to. He prefers that we use Word processors or other commercial note taking software etc. He sees Notes as simply an annotation tool for making a very quick comment on a verse. Much like a pencil note in a real Bible

  • BUG: Opening All In A Floating Window . . .

I have a suggestion: Please make it so that if you Open All In A Floating Window - when you close it - (i.e.; X out) - it just puts the floating window back where it came from. That's what I would want it to do. That's what I expect it to do. But that is not what it does ! It just closes all the books I had open in that tile and messes up my saved layout
One of the things I disliked about Libronix was the ability to lose windows behind other things. I'm glad that Logos 4 makes this impossible with it's tab management. Floating allows you to enter a "maximized mode" that suits my purposes just fine.
Hello, Yes I agree it was frustrating that if you minimized a tile

Hello Bob, I like some of the ideas and suggestions others have made. Here are the ones that stand out to me: Add software developers & code writers for development (on both the Windows & Mac sides) This will help in getting the Logos product fully ready & stable & "out there" - available for purchase. The idea of giving away a "free" sampler (a very

  • Re: Collapsible results
It would be real nice if we could collapse related search results in V4. So that if, for example, we sorted our search results by book we could expand or collapse the results from one book. It would make finding the result we want much easier.
I very much agree with this also. Being able to collapse or expand

  • Question - How do you . . . ?

Hello, I'm still learning Logos 4 and so far I like it a lot. But there are a few things I don't know how to accomplish in L4. How do I find repeated words or phrases in the bible text? Is there a way to have them highlighted temporarily (?) so that just the repeated words stand out? I'd like to be able to do this in both the english Bible texts and
Regardless of how you interpret his post (repetitio or geminatio or both), you suggested "I would just run a search for the word or phrase you want highlighted." But he'd have to have a particular word or phrase in mind to do that. It would be impossible to do a visual filter or a search for the generic case, you could only
For me, an auto-update would be a hassle not a help i.e. there should be an option to turn it off.
I can see what you mean. But isn't the automatic "snapshot" it takes every few minute an auto-update? Yes, I agree, there should be several user configurable options for the Layouts feature. For me, I'd like to be able

Oh, Come on! You mean to tell me that the color of hyperlinks in the text is perfectly okay with everyone but me and Bill? But seriously. I do have dificulty seeing the hyperlinks on both my desktop PC (with 21 inch flat screen monitor by HP), and my Laptop. And no one else has an issue with it? That's kind of hard to believe. • Suggestion: Option to Change Color/Style of Hyperlinks

I've been using Logos 4 now for a while and there is one thing that has bothered me since it came out - and that is how difficult it is to distinguish hyperlinks in the text , from the rest of the text - because of the default dark blue color used for hyperlinks in the program. Many times I've been reading and went right past hyperlinks that were in

Okay. I attached my Logos 4 log file to this one. I'll attach the Logos 4 Indexer Log to the next post (should see it directly below) Kind of weird on the indexer log - seems to be trying to index my Libronix stuff, but I could be wrong about that. Hope these help to determine the problem and find the fix. Thanks again. My System Specs: Lenovo ThinkPad

I purchased the ISBE Revised Edition for L4 and when I do a search it lists New Resources and says that these new items will remain in this category until I merge the index.
