Hello all, I have a friend who owns the Logos 4 Scholars Library - not Scholars Silver, or Scholars Gold. It's just called the Logos 4 Scholars Library. And she was wondering if she bought the Logos 5 Minimal Crossgrade would she actually get ALL of the new features? Things like Timelines - Clause Search - Bible Facts - Sermon Starter Guide - Topics
-
We have this AWESOME PROGRAM with which to study the scriptures in depth - and find out just about any Bible fact - in order to teach or preach the scriptures - but there's just one thing missing. A way to selectively GATHER and save the amazing things we discover when we research any Bible passage or Bible topic. SUGGESTION: I would like Logos to provide

Now I feel kinda dumb. I mean, I knew about clippings, but I didn't realize that you can make Clipping Files and have several clippings in it. This is close to what I'd like to see. I'm going to use it for my next message and see how it works. Thanks John.

Hello Logos, A while back I purchased the Expositors Bible Commentary - Abridged Edition. And today when I was looking up something regarding Matthew 8:2-3, I saw, in parenthesis, it says (on leprosy, see comment on Mk 1:40). But when I click on the reference to see the comment, another tab opens up and it says: You don't have a license to view this

I LIKE IT ! ! ! I've been looking at and playing with the Propositional Outline Visual Filter today after doing the Extended Crossgrade - and I can say that this could be an invaluable tool for quickly getting at the heart of what's being said in the passage in a visual way. This would truly be an awesome thing to be able to use throughout the entire

Thanks for the link. But I've already been there. And even though it says ALL features - it's posts like this one from a Logos Employee that confuse the issue: Re: Confused by Minimal Cossgrade: What does "all" mean? Notice the part in the middle where he seems to be saying that you may not get all of the features.
-
Okay, Okay, Okay! I'm convinced! Now I can tell her, definitively, that if she buys the Minimal Crossgrade she'll get all of the new Logos 5 features. Thanks everyone for explaining it to me. You're all awesome!

I'm actually really impressed with F.L.'s willingness to create such an amazing tool for us to use in sermon/lesson prep. And, if you think about it, what better way to keep people inside the Logos program while creating their messages and lessons, than providing a way to do it right in Logos? I love that it saves all of your sermon documents right
-
Really! No one? Not one person here is interested in the POSB? That's just depressing, because this is a terrific resource in WORDsearch - and it would even be better in Logos - in my humble opinion.
-
I ordered it in December - and you're right. It's just sitting there. And it's a shame too because this resource is really a great place to start when developing a sermon or Bible study. It's not a collection of pre-written sermon outlines. But it outlines the key ideas in every passage in the Bible - and even has commentary - synthesized from several

Ok. Thanks for the tip. I'll re-post there.

Is it possible - in Logos 6 - to create a note (next to a verse) with a link to another verse ? If someone knows how to do this could you please explain . I can create notes - but if I add , lets say, a related or contrasting scripture reference in the note , it doesn't automatically become a link to that verse. I'd like for that scripture reference
-
Hello, Thanks for taking the time to help me out a little here. As you can see in the screenshot - when I hover over my note (upper left hand) the scripture reference (in the note) is not a link. Seems to me that they used to become links. That's what I'm trying to do. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. S. Dahl
-
Well - in the body or content of the note is where I wrote " See "repent" (G3340) in Matthew 3:2 ", but the scripture reference doesn't turn into a link. Isn't it supposed to?
-
This in reply to both Reuben and MJ, Yes I put a space after the reference in the note file - and it does create a link in the actual note file itself. But that's not what I'm after. What I'd really like to do is create a link that can be accessed from the pop-up of my note. I hope this makes it clearer what I'm trying to do. And I'm hoping that this

Hello, In Logos Now - in the "Corresponding Words" visual filter . . . It would be really great if when you click on a word - (to see all the instances of that word) - if you could right click on one of the highlighted words and have it display how many times it appears in the current verse, chapter, and book - on the menu that pop's up. Also - if this

Hello all, Just wondering if there is a way to access the personal books I have in Logos 6 - on my iPad or iPhone? They don't show up on either device in the Logos app. If any one knows, I'd sure appreciate the help. Thanks. S. Dahl

I'm just wondering how I can update from L5 to L6 on my laptop also. I own Logos 5 Gold and I purchased the Extended Crossgrade. I typed in "Update Now" in the command box and all it did was update some resources for L5. I do have L5 set to update to the Beta versions that come out. I wonder if that might be the problem? Or is there another step I'm
