  • Would it be possible

I was wondering if it would be possible to put a link that stays on the top of the forum post that cannot be replied to and has links to videos, tutorials on how to use L5? This would be a super help and could easily be pointed to for all users...thanks for your consideration... blessings, danp

  • Re: Logos 5 or 4?

Ummm is there any possibility that you are using Windows XP for your operating system? L5 does not play nice with XP and I think the minimum is Vista Operating system for L5...that's my two cents anyway... blessings, danp

  • Re: Wow! Logos 5 Does not work with Windows XP!

I have a dual boot on this computer of Windows 7 and Windows XP Pro. Last night I ran L4 on the XP side and it installed all the new library and opened up the same as it was synced on Windows 7. The program however still sees itself as L4 and will run like that. I did not do any further testing, may do that in the future. Not sure if this helps anyone

Paul Golder | Forum Activity | Replied : Today 8:09 AM The forums seem a bit like the reflection of a local church: Most everybody attends quietly and faithfully. • Re: New Feature in Logos 5: Popular Highlights

Dave Hooton: There should be an option in Settings that says "Use community information" Yes/No and No means I don't get the information and it doesn't affect any features in Library or resources. Oh yeah, I get distracted enough and too easily!! danp

  • Re: Seriously?

I don't think it really matters what denomination I am, this guy just can't dance! I did get the happy feeling on the inside when I called Logos and got this straightened out! The one feature of Bible Sense was less than 7 dollars. I also splurged and got the ESV Notes for 28 dollars! I am glad the wife let me sell some digital camera equipment that

  • Seriously?

I am confused again...to go with the Silver package for me was 295 and change, the minimal crossgrade was at 150 and change (which has the features I was looking at). Purchased MC and now to go to Silver is still 259? REALLY? So spending all that only saves me gives me 40 dollars? Is it just me or did I miss something? danp

  • Confused again

Why does the minimal crossgrade not include the Bible Facts and Places, the others that are not included I do not see a need for myself. I would consider getting the MC but isnt that a wasted if this is not icluded? Do I still keep the Bible Places and Things from L4? Seriouly confused and upset that no matter which one I seem to be interested in something

  • Re: PC Specifications for Running Logos 4 or 5

I agree wth Mark, these are the key issues for a good laptop. Mine is an old dual core that actually runs Logos very well with a 7200 rpm hard drive and a 512 dedicated video card and 4 gig of ram...I have always loved the larger screen real estate and have a 17 inch laptop. It is very heavy to lug around for long walks and need to take that into consideration

  • Re: Features

Thanks Jack. As I can see there is only one at the bottom not included which is the BWS Septuagent Translation...right? So that would only be one feature then? danp

  • Features

I am noticing that there are different "feature" numbers in the base packages. The silver package has 49 features and the gold 52 and from platinum up are all 53 features. Does anybody know or is there a webpage that list these different features...Silver upgrade is interesting and tempting. The question is what are the added features (list) that are

  • Serioiusly confused

I think I will like what the L5 engine does for Logos. I have the platninum package with other resources that I have purchased over the years. I have no idea what syntax is, have no idea what all this software can accomplish. Just looking at the price of 683.00 to keep platinum for alot more books that I have no use for is not being a good steward in

I am so appreciating the Logos software more and more! I started using Logos in late 90's when Libronix came on a single 3.5 disk and look at you guys now! Thanks Bob for all that you and the crew do at Logos! I realize that seminary is not an option right now in my life...yes this software and collections help me to learn more about my Saviour and
