I am trying to emulate a seminary library on my computer now that I no longer have easy access to one. Logos enables me to do that at a fair price (sales) with greater efficiency and usefulness.

Certainly RZ bears the bulk of the blame but it sounds like his ministry enabled him. So there is blame there. They should have rebuked him, then held him accountable from that point on. But possibly they saw him as their cash cow so didn't want to threaten that. Psalm 141:4,5 is relevant here. I pray this regularly for myself.

So grateful for this: Added a “Expand/Collapse All” option to the context menu for the Commentaries Guide section.

Wow what a great and helpful post Rosie! We attended Univ Pres Ch (UPC) until we moved in 2006. I remember Earl calling Barth his "hero" once during the service.

I find these helpful: The Bible Reader's Companion Summarized NT The Bible Guide The Outline Bible All in Logos

Funny I just bought them today, too and had the same problem but was able to get it to work. This is what I did: once it (DSSSE:En) is in the "add versions" box I clicked on it which caused the arrow on the right to appear (in the box). So you have to click that arrow. But still nothing happened for me. It was when I clicked it a second time that it

I'm very pleased with L9. This iteration as the others is a help to my bible study and growth in the Lord and ministry to others (maybe not as much as another upgrade along the way but I'm grateful for any improvements they make). I love how it maximizes my time as I study. I greatly appreciate too FL's proactivity in making sure we are getting the

I am looking for recommendations of authors of theology/commentaries (in Logos) that are insightful beyond the normal' not unnecessarily wordy; get right to the point & and are readable. An example for me is M.S. Mills in his - Life of Christ study guide: Mills, M. S. The Life of Christ: A Study Guide to the Gospel Record. Dallas, TX: 3E Ministries

Thanks that did it. But how do you know when to use "NEAR" vs something else?
-
How do I find all the places where Jesus rebuked a crowd; a demon, etc?
-
I responded to the email yesterday but they didn't answer me back til today saying they would extend the sale til 6 pm.
-
Is the bible browser tool designed to surface this kind of query?
-
Yes that works! Now--How would I find how the religious leaders addressed Jesus? In other words, in ways other than teacher, if any?
-
How do you find where Jesus is addressed as "teacher" in the Gospels (e.g.-Luke 18:18)?

I tried this but I still can't get it to work. The floating window tab comes over to the other screen with a slash (/) thru it. I can drag a tab on a browser over. So it is hooked up right.

It sure is. FL charged me $550

I found out today, 10-16,that FL is selling Barth's 31 volume Church Dogmatics for $75. In 2012 I paid $550. I had no idea the price could so drastically be cut one day. This makes me not want to make future expensive product purchases. I contacted CS but they would not give a credit of any amount to make up for it.

I agree!!

Thanks all for your help in understanding this!
