  • Re: Sync to read location has changed!

HI Graham: That was a clever question. I did have three windows linked and one of the windows (books) was not paging in sync with the other two. Once I closed that book in that window, it fell to another tab there which was on the right book chapter and verse. Now with three widows linked and in sync, Logos is opening to the chapter to which I have

Haha. Just re-read my post from yesterday again and it does agree with what I just said. Following flash, Logos is placing me at the beginning of the book I am in, Not where I have read (synced) to within the book.

Graham: I apologize about my last post as I slightly misspoke. What actually happens is it opens to the beginning of the book I am in. Not the beginning of the chapter. So, specifically, I had read through 2Cor 9:1 yesterday and shut down Logos. Because I am now super focused on this, I also was sure to note that the sync wheel was grey (synced) before

Hi Graham Used to be I would read through Matt 14:9 and it would open at Matt 14:9 on the same Mac, the next time I launched the Mac. Now, it opens to Matt 14:1 no matter how far into the book I have read. Again, a minor inconvenience, though for me a bit of an annoyance.

  • Sync to read location has changed!

Hi: The ad for Logos 7 said, "lose nothing, get so much more!". I didn't want to upgrade. Saw no reason to upgrade, but in the end my hand was forced (I hate upgrade now SPAM!). Following the upgrade, I am blessed to have none of the most grave outcomes I am now reading about on these forums. I am so very sorry for those who's relational time with the

What do you do on a Mac? Nothing but a spinning wheel when attempting the update here....

  • Re: Account for sale

HI guys thanks for your patience with the inquiry and your thoughtful replies. I hadn't mentioned my library on account of not wanting to "sell" it here. As a couple have asked, I will advise that I have the Scholar's Library. It is not currently marketed by logos. It sits just below Gold (per Logos recommended upgrade suggestions). I am not clear on

  • Account for sale

Hi All: I am exhausted with trying to use logos software. Just too steep a learning curve for me. Can anyone tell me how/where to put my collection up for sale? (I am not wishing to be illegal in the mention. I presume I have the right to sell my copy and hope for a known safe environment to do so.) John

  • Re: Inconsistant Placeholding

Thanks Alabama. My face is now also blue... Tried the work around. 1. Blank screen appears. 2. Upon opening the Bible I was reading on my mobile device, the proper book of the bible opens at chapter one. 3. Clicking the sync wheel does not move me to chapter 15, where I left off. Both my iPad and my Android can track where I am. That the main application

  • Re: Inconsistant Placeholding

I upgraded my Mac to v.5. Reason I hadn't was I thought it cost money. Preferences say at Startup open to "most recent layout - any" (not local). What is happening right: 1. Custom notes added on my iPad appear in the Mac application without delay. 2. After reading my bible on the mac application, I can fresh start my iPad app and it knows where I left

Thanks for the question. Saved layout. Right where I left off last night. iPad just "opens"...

  • Inconsistant Placeholding

I cannot figure out what Logos or I am doing wrong. What I want is for my place in scripture to be presented to me accurately, whenever i open Logos from any of my devices. What I am experiencing is no sense of connectedness between HQ, Mac, iPad or Android. In fact, this morning when I opened Logos on my Mac, having closed down Logos on the same Mac

Very good to consider, Robert Phillips - Thanks. (I failed to "forum quote" you correctly, sorry) In my case, display time has been nearly at a glance to the find completion. I didn't realize there could be a lag to display. As I have begun to have more than one panel open however, I have noticed a slight delay to those reference resources "catching

  • Initial Setup

Hi All: I am absolutely certain this is akin to beating a dead horse for these forums, sorry! When I am searching a passage, I want all the nifty effects presented in the training videos. I have watched every video found at the logos 4 Mac page. Trouble is, I can't find the video that says, "go here, open this, set this preference, etc" to where the

Interesting comparatives. We can all do with a little perspective in our lives, though again many of these remarks seek to pacify less than optimum performance. Maybe it is worth saying that I have no intention to pick a fight with someone less than satisfied with their Logos performance. Likewise, I didn't appreciate the anxiety I had to live through

  • Logos 4 Mac... VERY EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE

Hi, I am a new user of Logos 4 Mac. I read that "other post" after buying and before installing my new Scholar's library (you know, the post about very poor performance). I am starting this thread, because the other thread was so hi-jacked, it is useless. I trust this thread will be allowed to stay on topic - which is; What is your performance experience
