Me, too. I'd like to have a hand-picked collection of best of the best, like Banner of Truth did. Full collections are good for researchers, I think, but not for laymen.

No Kindle-like navigation buttons in Reading View (F11) yet. I am anticipating this a lot in 4.1 :-) Then my Tablet PC will be very useful for reading in Logos.

I think calculating the page size with footnotes is very difficult. However, Logos team can print them as endnotes, like library.logos.com does. I think that is also quite sufficient. Thanks!

Just wanted to copy-paste the current progress with this issue From http://community.logos.com/forums/p/164/174448.aspx Jacob Hantla Replied : Wed, Sep 22 2010 5:31 AM Michael S. Dysart: Jacob, Would really appreciate your commenting on the steps you take to use your Kindle with Logos. I now have a Kindle III and have yet to figure out how to get to

I am wondering why is everybody writing "forward" instead of "foreword"? Both on the blog and in this topic. Could not find this usage in my dictionaries. Sorry for hi-jacking.

Thanks for new column view. Could you please add navigation buttons to use in the full screen "Reading View" ? On Tablet PC when its folded to have two buttons Forwards - Backwards would be very helpful. There was a mentioning about "Kindle-like" buttons a while ago in the forums. Thanks.

I have updated to 4.2 beta 1 (4.20.4.6028) recently and hurray, the Reading View (F11) now has two columns as was promised! But unfortunately, I don't see and Kindle-like buttons to navigate forwards and/or backwards. They would be very helpful for reading with a mouse, or on a Tablet PC (multitouch) like I am doing. Please add these two buttons which
This is probably intentional.
I also thought about that. Even asked the customer service by email. But they did not confess :-)

Yes, let a Russian base package happen :-) Thanks, Vladimir, for your offer of help.
I am thinking: would iPad be that practical for me also? No, not at all, because I would have it with me only in the situations I plan to have some time for reading. But in those situations I have my laptop with me also, so what is the point in having iPad?
Your thought is interesting. I am still considering whether
It's my next purchase methinks.
During Twelve days of Christmas AYBD was available for under USD 190. Don't know if the Sales people will give you at the same price (but you're MVP :-)) And I also found that coupon YALE (from one of older blog posts) gives you 30% off. That gives a price of about USD 204.

Thanks, Rosie and Bill. I have turned on Logging now (by pressing Ctrl). With just only one resource loaded - namely Owen, where I was taking notes - I have the Note taking window hanging. From the logs I see that Note syncing is too frequent. Perhaps, the event to sync notes could be changing focuses in windows, not at typing words. I am working from

Yes, I have Internet turned off, it seems (please see my new note). But the program hangs both in on and off mode of Internet. Perhaps, the note taking feature doesn't care about Internet access status, therefore it tries to connect anyway, which makes it hang. Thanks for sharing in this problem, Rosie.
How about if you run with Logos completely Offline -- that is, hold down the Ctrl key when you're starting Logos, and when you get to the login screen, instead of clicking "Sign in," click "Work Offline."
Thanks. I've done like this, but it still hangs desperately even in Offline mode. Perhaps there is some problem
I never thought that this commentary was all that necessary. After all the entire Bible is written from an expositionally Reformed point of view.
And what use is there for a Reformed Commentary Set if you're already reformed? :-) Sometimes it's better to have another point of view, besides the view of your friends

I am very fond of Logos 4 but sometimes it just hangs. For instance, I can't edit even my first note in Owen's Hebrew commentary - the first time I am doing notetaking in Logos4. It hangs after I enter a word, then when it comes alive, and I type a word, it hangs again and so on. I cannot finish the note. The memory consumation is low (about 70 Mb for

Logos still lacks "grab and drag" navigation for Windows Tablets. And no tap zone (could be in the middle on left and right side) for turning pages in Paged View. Other than that I can use Logos 4 on my folded Tablet PC and have more resources available than iPad users ;-)
-
Please add option "Use Paged View by default" in program settings. It seems paged view is really helpful and I find myself turning it on everytime I open a new resource. :-)
Todd Phillips answered the original post very well. How about we just let this thread die (i.e. enough already).
Oops, I didn't follow the thread till this point. Sorry, for pushing it up.
