  • new web app keeps crashing

I love the new web app, but I have two related questions for anyone who knows more about this than I do. First, is there any way to save the settings once we put together a usable layout. I like four boxes with a bible at the top left, the interlinear Bible at the top right, dictionaries bottom right and commentaries on bottom left. But how do I save

  • Re: Turn off the popups about resources

Hi Andrew, Tell me more. I don't see anything on my screen that looks like an "i" with a circle around it. What is the "library's information panel"? It looks like from your screenshot that it should be somewhere between the search bar and the help settings (three dots). I don't have anything like that.

  • Turn off the popups about resources

Does anyone know of a way to turn off the pop ups when your mouse grazes over the name of a book in the library? They are quite large and cover up several lines of print and all they are are promos for the books. It's an advertisement for a book that is already in my library. It also happens with books I have opened and have in my basic layout. If I

  • Re: Is there a way to do a proper citation in the web app?

One thing, however, that they could have done that wouldn't require any fancy coding, would have been to give bibliographic information about the book in the "Resource Information" section found under the three dots at the top left hand side of each resource. From that, most of us would be able to construct a footnote for the information we copy and

  • Re: How do I see Interlinear Greek in web app for chromebook?

Mike, you are a genius. I clicked on the compatibility button and then suddenly I saw the lines of Greek, English, Lemma, etc. show up. Plus, some of my other screens (like the Gospel Parallels) are now much more clear. What on earth does the "enable/disable Compatibility" do? What does it make the program compatible with?

Thanks Graham, but as I said, I have a Chromebook and not Windows. I said I didn't have a "PC" but I probably should have explained that PCs are usually Windows based and Chromebooks are "Chromium" based, and that's not the same. For some reason the interlinear text shows up just fine on my Windows 10 computer, but not on my Chromebook tablet. It only

  • How do I see Interlinear Greek in web app for chromebook?

I love the new Logos Web App, it gives me almost everything online that I have in the desktop program itself. And that's important because for traveling I use a Chromebook that has a different OS and little memory with which to store power programs like the total Logos program. However, I've noticed that when I use the app on my PC, I can run the lexham

  • Re: Is there any way to turn off the pop ups about the background of a resource?

Does anyone have any thoughts about WHY Logos does that? When I'm trying to open a resource in the Library, it blocks the name and makes it difficult to open the resource. And why on earth would they give me three paragraphs on the history of the book I've already purchased and am already trying to open? Plus, of all things, they include a little chart

  • Is there any way to turn off the pop ups about the background of a resource?

Whenever my cursor grazes (even briefly) over the name of a resource (commentary, Bible, etc.) a pop up appears with publisher information and a review of the book. It covers quite a few lines and blocks everything around it. It's particularly irritating when I'm trying to find a new resource in a list and it blocks several before and after the one

  • Re: Turn off pop up windows

They really do get in the way, as Donn said, and take up so much space on the screen. That is probably the single-most irritating thing about Logos which is basically a good program. I hate fighting with the popups, always trying to rush my cursor over a book or around it to keep the pop up from jumping up at me. How many times do we actually need to

  • Deleting unused books

Is there a way to delete books that we never use? There are many in the list that are wonderful (and many I bought myself), but also many that I will never get to. Can we delete or hide them, so I won't have to rummage through the entire list to get to the ones I use most often? or, short of that, is there a way to create a "favorites" list of just

  • Re: Greek question

So, there is no way to get the interlinear Bibles to be interlinear? If not, why are they called that? Why list them in the resources at all, when there already are actual Greek new testaments listed?
