[quote user="Joseph Turner"]A lot of the resources ARE overpriced, but they usually end up on sale at some point in time. I could not afford to buy the Hermeneia commentaries (not that $1200 is necessarily overpriced), but then they went on sale for 50%, and I jumped on that price. The cost of the volumes that I wanted easily amounted to $600, so the

I am copying this post of mine from another thread, and posting it here because it's equally relevant. [quote user="Chris Roberts"]Not sure that anyone can reasonably argue that Logos resources are priced well. Logos charges an entirely reasonable sum for the high quality product they produce, which simply does not exist elsewhere on the market. I have a lot of sympathy for the original poster, and for similar comments in this thread. When L4 came out, it was seriously broken. By that I mean it lacked a significant number of features which were standard in L3, features which were not merely cosmetic or a different way of doing the same things. It took a long time for these features to be included

I am a very dedicated collector of journals in Logos, and I share the disappointment at the lack of updates. More than that, I would really like to see the scope of journals expanded significantly. I would love to see these. * The Bible Translator. Technical Papers (ISSN 0260-0935) * Bulletin for Biblical Research (ISSN 1065-223X) * Expository Times
