  • Re: using Libronix books in Logos 4

This didn't work because there is no such thing as "Tools > Library Management >" in my program - When click Tools, I get LIBRARY with subtopics - collections, favorites, Highlighting, History, Reading Lists but no LIBRARY MANAGEMENT or Library subtopic Management??? So I went ahead and installed Libronix and the files. then I waited 6 hours and tried

  • using Libronix books in Logos 4

I was given a free copy of David Jeremiah. It is in Libronix Digital Library System 3.0e format. I know that I imported Libronix books into Logos 4 when I first installed it, but now can't figure out how to get these books into it so I don't have to use the Libronix DLS program also. Can any one tell me where the command is hidden? Allen Dearing

I guess I am a little different than others. I am an expository preacher/teacher. I pick a scripture and dig what I can out of it instead of picking a topic and trying to find scripture to match it. I am not saying one is better than the other, just approached differently about notes. I try to pull everything that I can together in one place about a

That is what I was afraid of so currently I do not have "use internet" set to yes on either computer. Right now, I have more books that I really need, but I guess I could temporarily set it to internet at times I might want one, or just order it on a disk. I will retry the moving of the notes.db file. What I did before is create a notes.db file on the

Actually I am not in that situation YET. I have had my notes in Quick Verse since 3.1. It is 35 years of preaching worth of a commentary that has puled materials from hundreds of other books - both digital and mostly hard copy and it thus a verse by verse commentary on the entire Bible (a compilation of what I though was important from over 100 commentary

Rosie, Thank you for the reply. In it you said: "I'd back up your Note files before connecting just in case something happens." The documentation on Logos products seems to be truly useless. I can not find one single reference in the help file as to how to back up notes. So, how do you back them up. Secondly, if I back them up can I RESTORE them on

Actually I wanted to do both. I use Logos 4 mainly on my desktop (larger monitor), but I would also like to take and move all the notes I create to my laptop copy of Logos 4 for when I am traveling. My main idea was to make changes on the desktop only and just have the notes to be read on the laptop. I then also thought about the fact that I have written

I use notes extensively. I have basically written my own commentary on the Bible over 20 years. The notes were originally in another program, but I transfered them to Logos. I have a note on just about every verse in the bible. I know this goes with only one translation, but then if you keep it open it pops them up, even if you are reading another tranlastion
