• Re: Learning Greek and Hebrew on your iPad

Dan, you need to convert the video to a format and resolution that your iPod can support. I have to use Handbrake to convert the videos into iPhone compatible format before they can sync to my iPhone (3GS). I'm using a Mac so I am not sure what you may use for conversion on the PC.
Has anyone come up with an easy way to mark up the resources you want and not to download and go through ever book in the library. I tried making an offline tag and put that in the library search with no luck. Ideas?? I also thought about maybe collections but that didn't work either?
This is not a perfect solution

  • Re: Handouts/ lecture outlines?

I've been very busy at work and therefore quiet in the forums. Logos tagged notes linked to Logos resources would be great, though I'd settle for anything that I can print out (e.g. PDF).

  • Handouts/ lecture outlines?

I finally got my copy of the DVDs a couple days ago. I'm very pleased with it even though I have no use for half of it (the Hebrew disc). I've been going through the initial verb videos (so far the indicative and the aorist) on the iPad, and am finding myself constantly flipping between the Video app and the Notes app to take notes. I'm wondering if
The last few days I have been reading Charles Ryrie's book entitled "Dispensationalism". Last night as I was reading it, a popup came up that I am not authorized to read this book (or something like that statement). I tried saving my location to favorites and it would not save. I got out of Logos, including signing out and signing

I think you don't need to reboot the device if you navigate to another page using the navigation bar the tables will come back. At least it does so for my Calvin's commentaries. I hope that Dave is working on it.

I'm not a "Hebrew scholar", nor have I studied the passage before, but I'm nonetheless interested in what "theology of art" your friend is coming up with. Since theological discussions are OT here, could you email me at amy, the domain name being hkstar, dot, com.

  • Re: Göttingen Septuagint (65 Vols.)

It is a pity that the Journal of Biblical Literature is not seen as important enough for the promotion of biblical scholarship to be not waiting any longer. Not that I say that it is as important as the Göttingen Septuagint. But then maybe if Rosie writes a compelling review on the resource here, that would bring it to life sooner. (Rosie, are you there
The only way this makes since is if you can use Text to speech technology so that you can listen to the book as you drive.
My view based on years of Sanskrit. Sanskrit makes Greek look easy. Greek makes Latin look easy. Hebrew makes Chinese, Tibetan, Tamil et. al. look easy. • Suggestion: Adding iPhone availability on Products Comparison Cart

I was looking at the product comparison chart just now, and am wondering if addition of information on iPhone/ iPad availability of the titles on the page might help with purchase decisions and thus sales? It would certainly have influenced me had I not been a Logos user already.
