• Re: Only 50 titles displayed

Check your library! Assuming they haven't changed anything in the past few days, if your library is an exact match with the above then it is fair to assume you don't have access to your library. If your library is significantly different from the above, then chances are you do have access to your library, only that books with permission issues are not

  • Re: Google Wave group: is Tues OK?

I'm in Hong Kong - so GMT + 8 hours to be exact. If there's something like an evening group PST I think I can join, because their 6-10pm would be 10am-2pm our time, at least I'm not sleeping and I maybe able to get in now and then. That was about the same time last time I was waving at you guys.

Sounds good. :) I could join you guys on Tuesday the only problem is it is daytime for us when it is night time for you, so I'll be working and may not be at the computer all the time. As for the topic I'm pretty flexible, though something in Hebrew would be nice. Looking forward to seeing you guys!

Richard, Which books do you have? If you're getting the following 50 titles then I suspect you do not have access to your library yet. List of titles in the generic library: 1881 Westcott-Hort Greek New Testament, 1890 Darby Bible, ASV, Apocrypha of the Old Testament, Arabic Bible (Smith & Van Dyke) , La Biblia de las Americas , BHS with Westminister

I would be most delighted if they would also implement an autorotation lock. That would let me read in the bed/ couch.

  • Re: Hebrew text (AFAT, BHS) "disappears"

Are all the modules updated? I mean the bibles not the main program file - even the ones you don't use but whose updates are there. It didn't make sense to me at first but when I got them updated that fixed the problem.

Do you happen to have have Bibleworks 7 on board? I have had blank pages with my BHS/WM4.2 in L4 and after 45 minutes long distance call (I live in Hong Kong ) to Logos support, we've nailed down the problem to a conflict with some ?scripting bug in BW7. The problem was fixed after updating all possible modules in BW7 and restarting computer.
I reported this towards the end of the Beta cycle when the updated SESB was released. It has been filed as a Bug report (on my netbook the glosses actually disappear off the screen!)
Glad to hear that. I really hope that we could have the single click though, it can be rather tiring to have to double click all

  • Issues using L4 to study the Hebrew bible and UI requests

I'm enjoying the new Logos version 4 very much. It is a real improvement and very impressive in terms of high level work (e.g. word study/ passage guide). I am, however, missing some features I had in L3, which is making the new L4 not as effective in low level work for my studies. Specifically, I'm using Logos to help me study the Hebrew bible (mainly

  • Re: Resource availability indicator for iPhone

Yes, I second that! Ever since the launch of the app I am waiting to buy some books to read on the iPhone, but I'm holding it off after reading about the licence restrictions problems. Would be nice if I could tell which resource is available on the iPhone so that I could get the ones I wanted.

  • Re: iPhone Logos is online!

In the App description it says, "Users of the desktop version of Logos Bible Software 4 get access to much of their Library* through this mobile application." I'm running Logos 3.0f on my desktop and only have access to the generic 50 books library in the iPhone. I wonder if those who have access to almost their entire library in the iPhone would be
You will be able to soon...
Bob, I am seeing only 50 out of 1000+ resources. It may be related to the issue that nothing much comes up on word study, many words have no information in it ("Sorry, that word could not be located") and those which have only point to the entry in Easton's Bible Dictionary. Is it a restriction
Well, certainly if they were to do that, you should only be charged once for each resource. They shouldn't be charging you over and over for adding and removing the same resource. That said, I don't understand the reason why anyone would be adding and removing their resources over and over in the first place.
That

Another way to do it would be: (1) A free App that holds 10 resources, user can delete and add resources as they wish but the app can hold a maximum of 10 resources; the App registers UUID and login information to allow for upgrade of device later, (2) a "$4.99 Resources Pack" App that add space for 10 more resources, a "$9.99 Resources Pack" App that

Dale, It seems that different people are willing to pay very differently according to how they will be using the app. What about an incremental price for different number of resources allowed in the app, would Apple allow it? For example, you can have (1) A free app that allows only 10 resources downloaded in it, but people can delete and add resources
The Hebrew text is reversed, I hope they can get it right
You're right! The Hebrew is reversed. That doesn't look good. It's a complex enough problem and I'm sure it'll take quite some time for them to fix. I was originally hoping for thanksgiving but it looks like MacWorld 2010 is a more realistic date...

There should be notes, according to Pic#40 (entering a note) and #41 (blurred note icon, I think ). Don't know about highlighting. If there'd be synchronization of notes (or highlights if it is avaiable) with desktop Logos that would be awesome! Cheers, Amy
