• A14 corrupted display

First a big thank you for the new Alpha! It's becoming very usable. I just noticed a rendering bug with the settings window, seems not to affect the other windows that I have opened. When I flick scroll up and down the (child) window, the display becomes corrupted. First the text becomes slightly blurred, then it goes haywire: I wonder if anyone is

Thanks Dave, that is way cool! There is now only one missing cover (The Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: Sentence Analysis) in my whole library of 1300+ books!

  • Re: Logos 3.0g, Windows 7 64 bit (Parallels) disappearing windows - Help!

I just created a new user account and L3 was running fine there. So the application is not broken just the settings (perhaps some book pointers). Does anyone know if there is any way to remove/ reset all application settings for L3?

  • Logos 3.0g, Windows 7 64 bit (Parallels) disappearing windows - Help!

I've trying to run L3 3.0g under Win 7 64 bit (English) installed in my Bootcamp partition under Parallels 5. After trying to open a number of resources, suddenly all resource (child) windows inside the main application window disappeared!!! Suspecting that the error happened because of insufficient memory (I realized later that Parallels 5 only allocated

  • Re: 40% discount on Z titles for Pradis owners
This might ease the pain. I just got off the phone with Sales to ensure I got the 40% on my EBC and he said that I qualified for 40% on all of it. Since I own EBC I could get 40% off the entire package after the new lower price. It makes it just a little over $1,070. I added the NIV Application Commentary to my EBC and

Yes, I know that they're mock ups but I'm hoping that if notes was there in the initial planning stages of the app, there might be a good chance that it will appear in the app later.

Check out these images in m.logos.com, they were posted when the app was in the making: http://m.logos.com/images/full/iphone_bible41.png http://m.logos.com/images/full/iphone_bible41.png There seems to be a blurred out yellow note icon as well as the words "When you take a note on a verse...", so my guess is that whether it's there or not, it's planned

I'm sure it's just a typo? I thought it's "chiastic" and not "chiasmic".

  • Re: Would it be Possible to Have English-German dictionary ?

Tes, I've tested and have the following results: 1. Though I like Office-Bibliothek the most, the Direktsuche of my Office-Bibliothek 4.0 doesn't work with L3 or L4. It doesn't work well with my Digitale-Bibliothek either. And updating to 5.0 broke the Direktsuche completely. 2. Langenscheidt's "award winning" Pop-up Suche does better, it works with

Tes, I've got the same (now called the Office Bibliothek, I got v. 4.0 and 5.0 from different resources, but I have 4.0 installed because I like it better). I've installed a couple other dictionaries in it together with the Duden Großwörterbuch Englisch so it's very convenitent as I can search several dictionaries in one go (Duden Deutsches Universalwörterbuch

What about a resource that is out of copyright? A very good one that comes to my mind is the Muret-Sanders Enzyklopädisches Wörterbuch published in 1902. This is (I think) the precurser to Langenscheidt's 4 volume Enzyklopädisches Wörterbuch which I mentioned in another post. The problem is, of course, where to find a hardcopy to work on it!!! I wonder

  • Re: Would it be Possible to Have English-German dictionary ?

Actually, it works with L3. I meant the gloss doesn't come up when I hover my mouse over it, I have to hit some hot key to do the job. Sorry for the miscommunication. The Collins dictionaries don't work with inflections though which is not good news for highly inflected languages such as German. If anyone knows a better German dictionary software this

Thanks Melissa, all seems fine now! I didn't do anything, and L3 isn't asking me for the SN anymore.

Melissa, could you kindly activate my Tyndale commentaries too? Mine also came without a serial number, I installed it in L3 and whenever I open it it keeps asking me for the serial number (though I seem to be able to use the resources). Thanks a lot in advance!

Rosie, I think Stephen had another dictionary. I followed your link and downloaded the trial version, it doesn't integrate with L3. Nothing on mouse over and had to ctrl+Rt click and it brings up a window from the Collins dictionary application.

Stephen, wo hast du dieses Wörterbuch gekauft? Kanns nirgends finden... I'd second a German-English dictionary too!!! Though I'd prefer something from Langenscheidt/ Pons/ Duden. That being said, since Pons, Langenscheidt and Duden produce their own electronic dictionaries I suspect it might not be as easy to have their permissions for Logos to carry

Thanks, Van and Kevin, for your insights!
relevant because the resources of Z that I have on Pradis received the largest discount, but the ones I don't have had in many cases, ZERO discount
I looked closely at the figures again and you're right, some of them don't make sense (some items have the same prepub and retail

  • Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle (87 Vols.), is it worth it?

I'm wondering if anyone has placed a prepub order for on the Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle ? I have the Expositor's Bible Commentary from Pradis and would like to have it in Logos, and thus have placed an order for it, plus a few other items (including the New International Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties) in the bundle. As I'm considering other

Roger, if you go offline and then open the library, only the books available for offline reading will appear in the library. Then you can remove the books you want to.
