  • Logos Bible App, Faithlife (Study Bible) App & Vyrso App -- Single or Separate Storage Database?

I'm still relatively new to the iPad and am currently looking to 'streamlining' the used storage space and minimising the ongoing number of 'update' downloads. I have Logos Bible App, Faithlife (Study Bible) App and Vyrso App installed. Does each App have its own separate database, which means it is possible to have one specific resource installed in

  • Re: Logos App Functionality on iPad

Hi Graham, Thank you so much for your prompt response and the info. I had anticipated that Logos would be on par with Accordance and Olive Tree, whereas they are obviously lagging behind in certain important areas. It seems that the App is not truly portable in that one is tied to the 'apron strings' of the Logos servers in order to access certain basic

  • Logos App Functionality on iPad

I'm new to the Logos App on iPad and would appreciate a bit of info, please. Do the various Reverse Interlinears not function on the Logos iPad app? Do I only get Louw-Nida info in a Greek Interlinear when connected to the Internet? Is there any way I can get Strong's/other Lexicon info links to the text of the ESV & NASB like one is able to do in Accordance

Hi Graham, I'm not quite sure how to answer your first question re setup of wifi router. All I can say is that it gets switched off every night and switched on again the next morning, so there shouldn't be a problem with syncing/up-dating etc. I've not changed any settings on the router When I first logged into Logos via iPad I had to sign in with my

Hi Graham, My personal guess is that one of the iPad features that I switched off is preventing Logos from connecting with the Logos server - but that's just my ignorant guess! On the Homepage two small circles (Checking for update & Downloading News) go round & round endlessly without anything happening. If I tap on a resource that I've NOT yet downloaded

  • Essential iPad 4 settings for Logos 4 to Function (Download)

I've been attempting to download resources onto a newly acquired iPad 4 (Wi-Fi), so I'm a newbie with regard to iPads. There didn't seem to be any problem downloading until I changed some of the iPad settings and now nothing appears to want to download. The iPad is mainly for more mobility in the home, for e-book reading/studying, and so I followed

I've just successfully downloaded AND installed version 4.5 SR-5 via the conventional update route --Praise the Lord! I am truly grateful that you seem to have found the solution to this problematic issue - lets' hope it is a permanent solution for all of those concerned. It might have been my imagination, but the download process seemed to be slower

Bradley, unfortunately you were correct, it didn't fix the problem. I'm not an IT guy so perhaps things seem to me to be simpler that they actually are. What I cannot understand is why I'm able to click on the link provided by Tonya Ross in the forum and then download and install the new Logos4 SR release using the "Safe re-install" method" (i.e. using

I'm not an IT fundi at all, but I'm always game for any program that will enable me to work better, or faster, or smarter. I regularly download, install and update scores of programs and I've never hit this problem before. The only place I've had an occasional problem was with Logos3 resource updates, where a particular resource on the list of updates

Bradley, Thanks for explaining the issue and the activity that was taking place behind the scenes, which had incorrectly seemed to me like unconcerned silence. Regarding the repetitive message, I had clicked on the link provided by Tonya Ross and presumed that was the latest SR. Actually, it was the SR4 that was trying to download, but installation

Where do I begin to look for the MD5 file? A computer search has drawn a blank, so it's probably been deleted. The problem is still occurring with Logos4 version 4.5 SR-3 and SR-4 ---- I've sent more logs direct to Tommy.

Well, I only did the update a couple of hours ago, but the way things are going it could well be the SR4! It hadn't been announced when I last checked, but it might have come through since then. I guess I'll have to try another "Safe Re-install" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • L4 SR Updates - Repetative Message

I'm able to download SR Updates, but they just don't install. Logos is aware of the problem, but seem to be ignoring it as they don't respond to e-mails either. Because of this I'm obliged to do a "safe Re-install" every time there is a SR update. I've just done the 4-5 SR3 update + two "downloads" of this same update to try and clear the message I

Steve, Truly a beautiful piece of work!! It would be wonderful though if it could work in WinXP (SP3) with Word 2003 + Word 2007 [Docx] capability. I saved the Word doc it opened as a docx file , as I have done with the other PB's I created and which work, but the book covers aren't copied into the PB. Where the book cover should appear, the book hyperlink

In the excitement of a possible solution being found I clicked on Download now without thinking about enabling a logging session! I've now enabled permanent logging and yet again attempted to download the elusive SR-8 update - I've uploaded this log. It's probably not connected, but I've also uploaded an extract of the Logos4 error log from yesterday

Unfortunately this hasn't helped in my case. I deleted my Download Manager and Update Manager files and then tried to download the SR-8 update again. The file downloaded until 99+% and then slipped away into oblivion. When I restarted L4, the same old notice was there as before which said I had a 44.1MB update that needed to be downloaded. Where does

Hi Dave, Logos didn't seem too interested in my problem when I contacted them direct - perhaps it's best to work via the forum in future, and to enlist the help of people like you whose name rings bells at Logos HO. Thanks for your help - I hope Logos comes up with a fix now. Kind regards.
