It's still interesting to me how much CPU is used just scrolling through the list. It must be how the interface is built. It probably does some type of update/check as I scroll as opposed to just reading a video buffer from the generated data built Anyway, it is what it is - Thanks again

Keep smiling for Jesus: 1. I am running a Mac Pro Server with 16 gig and 4 cores, 5770 as stated What I mistated was my query. It was actually broader than I stated, it is Heb 1:1-10 a much larger query.

  • Re: Performance issues. Logos 4.3 SR-3 (4.30.0.1592) -> Beach ball of death

Patrick - Your confusing every one with facts. That's not fair. I prefer anecdotal evidence and wishy washy statements such as your mileage may vary , it must be some local computer issue, etc. The bottom line again is until Logos decides their business model warrants a significant departure from their development model the gaps are going to increase

  • Printing Collection Bibliography List

When I go to use the print/export function when creating a collection the resulting output provides correct links to the logos resources for rtf and html. When I I try to use word it does not create the correct information to link to resources I am running Mac OSX and Word 2008 to produce a docx file. Any Ideas? I've attached two screen grabs to illustrate

  • Batch Tagging Library

Is there a way to tag the Logos Library from a input file so that I can make edits offline and then batch edit my library without having to use the library interface directly. What would be nice is a way to export all the library entries, edit then then reimport. This might be useful for the community to share the way their libraries are organized?

  • Re: Batch Tagging Library

What I'd like to do is print out the entire library listing or even a spreadsheet, think about how I want to organize it, then be able to make changes = replace x with y if commentary=z etc. I just found on the forums ways to accomplish that including some of your ideas. That's really the nut of it - Something I can quickly scan with my eyes and then

  • Re: References in Exegetical Summaries in the L5 Gold and up packages link to titles but not pages

My experience also includes Logos 5 crashing when clicking on many of the links in the series. I gave up on using them, because I can never predict when it will abort abruptly. I would submit logs, but since the Logos tool does not provide a point and click way of submitting logs, as for instance OS/X itself produces for operating system problems, I

  • Re: Product Architecture and Performance - Grand Central Dispatch

Any clues from tech support whether there is anything in the wings to better utilize exsisting hardware resources on a Mac? The New Mac Pro Servers that will be coming out before July will further increase the gap between hardware capability (Probably 12-24 Cores) and current Logos Software that can exploit only a fraction of what is available.

  • Basic Notes Question

I must be missing something right in front of my nose. I have just started to use notes. It's the last feature have begun to use in Logos. I am running a Mac. When I create a notes file and add a note, then begin to type text with say a reference to Acts 2:38, my understanding was Logos Notes would recognize the reference and create a link to the Bible
