  • Customizing a Reading Plan

I use Logos 6 and wanted to set up a reading plan with a devotional book. My issue is that when I do that it enters the cover, contents page, title page, acknowledgment's page etc as part of the plan. This throws the daily devotional part of the book out of sync and so the 1st of Jan reading ends up in Feb! Anyone know how to customize the plan so that

  • Context Menu not displaying all the options

When I right click on a word to bring up the Context Menu, it does not show me all the available options I have seen before like 'Add a Note', 'Add a Community Note', 'Visual Copy', 'Send to Proclaim Software' etc. Is there a setting I have neglected to click, or have incorrectly disabled by mistake? See the screenshot for an example.

  • Re: Why are upgrades so expensive?

Thanks Gabe...I am not exactly sure of what "Crossgrade" means and I need to better review the resources/books that come with the upgrade to see if it is worth the move. Also, I received a mail that recommended an upgrade to Gold, that was why I thought that Gold was the next step up...just marketing strategy? Anyways, thanks for your reply.

Hey guys thanks for your input and helping me to better understand some of the tech stuff behind this. I guess I may have misunderstood the upgrade part a little, added to frustrations with limited budgets and resources in a smaller community....ugh! Also gotta keep reminding myself on Who I lean to provide the tools for His work! I love using logos

  • Why are upgrades so expensive?

Purchasing a new product and upgrading from an existing version to the new version should not cost similar prices! Why is it so (almost prohibitively) expensive to upgrade from a previous version to the new version? I am on Version 5 Bronze and if I upgraded to Version 6 Bronze it is $200, but to upgrade to the next level up (Gold) it is almost $1000

  • Re: Highlighting, Notes, and Comments in library books

Well I feel embarrassed! Hovering my mouse over the pencil icon (by accident) revealed the answer.

  • Highlighting, Notes, and Comments in library books

This may seem like a silly question. I have noticed in some of my books in my library, that sometimes there are sentances or phrases underlined with a grey dotted line and followed by a greyed out pencil icon. What does this represent? Ist it community comments and highlights? If so, is there a way to view their comments? Many thanks, Evans Hundermark

  • Re: Suggestion: Inductive Highlighting, Please add Money symbol

Hi Slava, Could I take advantage of your hard work in researching these symbols that you have used and ask for you to provide a link to them, or could you post them here as downloadable images? They are exactly what I have been looking for and struggling with as I am still a new Logos user (but loving it!).

  • Re: How can you import slides from Power Point into Proclaim

I was totally disappointed to find out we cannot use Powerpoint or Keynote in Proclaim. We use Easy Worship currently but were considering Proclaim but it is imperative that we are able to import powerpoint and/keynote presentations first. We will have to reconsider and try again later if Logos include the option to import powerpoint presentations.
