• Re: Is it worth studying Greek?

I studied both Hebrew and Greek and I do not think that every Christian must be able to read these languages, but they do offer certain advantages. If you have the opportunity to study Greek and Hebrew, do it. That said, with the current tools available, these languages are a lot more accessible than before. • Re: Doing Passage Guide and Word Studies Offline
I've already had to download a competitor app for access to simple search--even off-line. Can' t wait to be able to ditch it, though no such off-line function has been announced.
Yes, I agree. Not being able to do a simple search in a Bible is a bit pedestrian for software like Logos. Hopefully they will fix this in the near future.

  • Doing Passage Guide and Word Studies Offline

Perhaps I missed this post somewhere, but why can't I use Passage Guide or Word Study in offline mode? I downloaded more than enough resources to my phone to accomplish these tasks without internet connection. Am I missing something? Thanks.

  • Citing books from the Logos Library in academic articles.

Hi, I was wondering if the page numbers of a Logos resource corresponds with the page numbers of the printed resource? Take the following Hebrew word in the Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament. עֵבֶר (ʿēber). Against, beyond, by, over, passage, quarter, side other/this side, straight According to Logos, this article is on p. 642. Does this agree

    I thoroughly enjoy this topic.
(I liken it to Covenant theology - the children of the righteous are reckoned as righteous while the children of the wicked are reckoned wicked.).
but this is perhaps not the most fair treatment of covenant theology.

Hi guys, I am currently studying 1 Cor 16:22 and I am looking into the relationship between the Anathema and Maranatha. I found a few resources in Logos, but I was wondering if someone knows of any resources about these two words that are not currently found in Logos.

  • Can I determine when I added a resource to my library?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to determine when I added a resource to my library in Logos4. When I buy a book I usually note down the date I bought the book in one corner. This is quite nice to determine how long I had a book. Anyone know if Logos somehow makes a note of this? Thanks
