• Re: Galaxy Nexus Display Resolution Issues

Changing the text size doesn't work. If it gets bigger, there are only a few words on the screen. The issue is that the lines that makeup the letters are too skinny, not that the letters themselves are too small.

  • Galaxy Nexus Display Resolution Issues

Software runs great on the phone, but a few issues. The most prominent issue is that when selecting a biblical verse or book, the words get cut off in the boxes. Still usable, but not good. When numbers are in the boxes, it is even more difficult to see. I attached a photo of the verses. Also, and this may be just me, but the font on logos books seems

That will work, thanks! I don't have Westminster or WIVU, I haven't felt the need to buy the extra SESB resources for my purposes.

  • Morph search for multiple forms

I'm sure this has been asked, but I couldn't find it. I'm want to be able to search for multiple forms of Hebrew words. I attached a screenshot instead of trying to explain the word I'm searching for. In this example I would like to search for both lemma 1 and lemma 2 forms at the same time. Is there a way to do this with wildcards or something? For

I've already had to download a competitor app for access to simple search--even off-line. Can' t wait to be able to ditch it, though no such off-line function has been announced.
Yes, I agree. Not being able to do a simple search in a Bible is a bit pedestrian for software like Logos. Hopefully they will

If you are looking at getting the Transformer, you may consider waiting a week or two to see if any more news comes up to support this rumor. Then you can either get a discounted original or go for the second generation. http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/12/new-asus-transformer-2-to-have-quad-core-available-november-7th/

I think you were part of a thread before that I started with a similar issue that ended up at least getting noted by logos staff. http://community.logos.com/forums/p/36506/273498.aspx#273498 I think your problem is more widespread than this, so hopefully logos takes a look at this and actually makes some changes. Its something I would like fixed as

I ordered mine all basically immediately. I received my first order of the classics on Friday night. The other 3 collections I ordered immediately after haven't been released to me yet. I'm guessing things in the first 30 minutes even are pretty stacked up.

  • Re: Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament

The value of this book is up to you. I got it cheaper than $60, but it is a book I have turned to time and time again. I highly recommend the purchase. There are many times we dont' even see the OT parallels in a text or fail to understand them. This book isn't exhaustive, but it gives you a great starting place for any study into the way the authors

It really depends on your personal tastes. I have an Android phone and love it, but I realize that isn't the best for everyone. I generally don't like apple products for personal taste reasons so I went with Android. Android gives you more flexibility than an iphone, but if you aren't good with technology or don't tinker, adjust the look of your phone

  • BUG: Greek/Hebrew Text Lookup

First off, amazing job on the new Beta, such an improvement! I noticed that by long pressing on greek or Hebrew words, it looks up information on the word, with the greek at least giving you a gloss of the word. (Hopefully the Hebrew is coming soon?) Such an amazing feature. The problem is, It seems to come one word to the left in Greek and one to the

Someone might have a way to do exactly what you are looking for, but there are a few options. One is to create a shortcut to the resource you want (ie: NA27) by dragging an open tab up to the bar next to the command box. Option two is to create and save a layout designed for Greek study. One with a greek bible, english bible, a couple lexicons if you

For me the main differences were NIGTC commentaries (really good) Pillar Commentaries (eceptional) Opening up Commentaries (decent depending onwhat you are doing) BDAG (not helpful to you) A few other original language resources are helpful and a few random other books I got an academic discount though, so weather the price difference for you is worth

The future of Android phone OS updates remains to be seen. The new update called "IceCreamSandwhich" will probably be released sometime around the end of the year and is supposed to mix the new tablet OS with the phone OS. Newer phones will probably get an update sometime in the first half of 2012 if they have the system requirements to support it,
It will be interesting to look around but they had better allow you to bulk move to the hidden resources area at the same time or things could get rather tedious.
I was wondering about this as well. I hope they make that an option. Although I dont' think that is available for their other resources. Austin

Once you right click make sure you select "reference" and not "selection" at the top right of the pop up box and then click add a note. This will make sure it shows up inall versions as well as commentaries, etc, in front of that verse.

  • BUG: Citations SBL

When copying and pasting sections of text logos does an amazing job of placing a footnote with the reference information. SBL format seems to be not working correctly for commentaries within a Series. (WBC, Pillar, NAC, etc.) The formatting looks like this. NAC is even worse. Robert A. Paul, you have to select one from the pop-up list and if your degree isn't in the list then the typing disappears. Its like in the Denomination box. My divinity degree isn't in the list so the form clears for me too.
Isn't it just one of several lumped under "Masters degree"?
The question is what would I choose.
