  • "Copy and Paste" not working Logos 6

I started having trouble a few weeks ago with the "Copy and Paste" not working. I have MS Word 2013 set up as my destination. Prior to the start of this problem, Logos 6 would open Word and paste the words in the Copy Bible Verses explorer window. Now only the "Copy" button works. I then must switch to MS Word and paste the content on the clipboard

Okay, that explains it. I have the datasets, this would just be another resource which adds content to the search capabilities. Thanks

  • Extended Data Sets Crossgrade vs. Gold L6 content

I purchased the L6 Gold Std package. I thought all of the datasets in L6 were included. I click on the Extended Crossgrade ( https://www.logos.com/product/45042/logos-6-extended-crossgrade ) and see: Greek Bibles, Apparatuses, Morphologies Brenton LXX (Greek) $19.95 Total price if purchased individually: $19.95 Your exclusive upgrade price: $11.58 I

  • Re: Morris Proctor Training Manuals

I purchased the Logos 4 manuals. At the speed that Logos was updating the features, I never was sure what part of the manuals were outdated. An electronic version could be updated at the same time the program sends out updates. I started with Libronix 3, then 4, then 5. I am now at Gold 5. Libronix 3 was a nightmare for me to use, so it didn't get used

  • Re: Themelios

I too watched the same video, becoming aware of the Themelios journals for the first time. After a little searching in the Logos forums, it appears that Logos is reducing their offerings in this category of titles. I see some benefit in having them. I would be disappointed if Logos did away with offering them and I missed my opportunity to get them

Appreciate all the input. I have purchased the set. I watched the LearnLogos Webinar on the AMG Essentials before buying. It also had good points and I see how the Strong numbers in these resources provide much more than what I had. Thanks again

  • Re: AMG Bible Essentials Library

Thanks for all of the quick replies and information. I was wondering if my current Silver L5 bible dictionaries, concordances, etc. would be as useful, or if the AMG bundle have superior scholarship for my intended purpose. Or if the difference worth the $97 price tag. I seem to have a lot of redundant resources, although I know some are better and

I use the NASB95 and ESV. But I was assuming that the links would work in these translations as well as KJV. If they will not, then I would re-consider my purchase. Thanks

  • AMG Bible Essentials Library

I am considering purchasing the AMG Essentials Library. https://www.logos.com/product/9438/amg-bible-essentials I currently have the Logos 5 Silver package. Is the AMG Essentials Library something you would suggest purchasing? It is recommended by Precept for the Inductive Study Method. Will it add much to my Inductive Studies, or will it be mostly

  • Re: From: Logos, you just lost a sale To: SUGGESTION: low cost starter pack for Sunday School teachers and families

I have invested several thousand dollars over the past 7-8 years in Logos. Started with a base Libronix package costing around $175 from CBD. Picked up 4 more of the pastor e-Study modules for around $15 ea. So I started with a good foundation of titles. Before Libronix 3, I used e-Sword. And after Libronix 3, I still used e-Sword. Libronix 3 was not

  • Re: Google vs Logos

I too am frustrated with this. Google brought 206000 hits in .38 seconds. I teach an adult SS class of which I prepare in Logos 5. I find most of the time I have to reword my searches 2 -5 times to get the reference I am looking for. I had not thought of using Google. Now I may if the first search fails in Logos.

  • Re: Bid Now!!--Revelation Classic Commentary Upgrade

I have seen several of these "Upgrades" on the Classic Commentary series. Are they just more content being added from more recent public domain titles, or they just a continuation of titles which were not as desirable on the first go round? I bid on the original Classic Commentaries and Studies on Revelation (27 vols.) But I had to cancel my pre-pub

Thanks to all for suggestions. My 17 year old is very active in Bible study and her faith. I was thinking she would benefit with her own copy of Logos to build upon. I didn't even start buying concordances and bible dictionary's until I was in my 30's. Had Logos been as mature as it is now in the development curve, I would have had a much better platform

  • Family Bible Study / Connections / Computers

My wife and I have two teenage girls. One is 17 and the other 13. My wife and I each have i5 notebooks which handle Logos software requirements. My children share a low end Celeron powered laptop. I would like to set up a Faith-life study group within my family, so that each of us have separate log in accounts. One that allows my children to have an

  • Geographic concentration of Logos Bible Software users / groups

Does Logos company have a referral system to connect Logos Bible software users? Not thinking online connections, but groups or churches who promote the use of electronic study of the Bible. i.e. Looking for a church where there would be a large enough interest to have an on-site training seminar; or have a study group where Logos would be used and

  • Re: Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

As a quick followup, I did add a copy of a verse reference from the verse entry box on the ESV window in Logos 5 desktop. I then pasted the copied verse reference into the note I had created on the tablet. After the note synced back to the tablet, the verse reference was a link and opened a box with the "Jump to reference" link.

  • Re: Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

Are you creating a note on the tablet and then viewing the note on the desktop? or the opposite? or tablet to tablet? I am confused as to the desired outcome. The link was not clear to me as to what they were illustrating. I can find no note reading function on the tablet which is comparable to the desktop window showing all of my notes as a list. If
