  • Re: Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

Not sure I am following your request, but I did copy and paste a verse reference into a note field and it is not a live link. I did the same for a title of a note and it is not a live link either.

  • Re: Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

Rodney, I tried them both. The Kindle Fire HD 7 and the Nexus 7. I first ordered the Kindle Fire HD 7 because I liked the idea of an integrated Amazon Prime experience. I did not like the constraints on loading non-Amazon content. I did take the time to side load a few non-Amazon approved apps. The process is not overly complicated, but I did have to

  • Re: Duplicate resource downloads

Graham, Thanks for the information. I can understand now why it is necessary. I don't think I am nearing any data storage limit, but I will probably use the Logos android app for most of my downloads and use the FaithLife app less. Jerry

  • Duplicate resource downloads

I have noticed on my android phone that each Logos app downloads its own resources. The Logos, Vyrso, and FaithLife apps seem to need to download each resource into each respective app. i.e. each app downloading the ESV Bible. Is this what is really happening, or do the Logos apps share resources? Thanks Jerry

  • Re: Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

Thanks for the information Gabe. I'm still wondering about the memory, 16GB or 32GB. My local Walmart only stocks the 32GB model Nexus 7. I can get it and a two year no questions asked warranty for about the same price as the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 16GB model at Best Buy. Jerry

Thanks for the information. After talking to a sales rep at Best Buy, I am leaning back toward the Nexus 7. He said I should look at the Nexus 10 if I want more screen. After checking the price, that one is out of my consideration. I remembered a review stating that the web browser in Kindle wasn't very good, and that the Nexus comes with the Chrome

  • Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

I am looking at the Kindle Fire HD tablets. I was leaning toward the Nexus 7 tablet, but after I saw the 8.9" Kindle Fire, I liked the extra screen size. My question is does Logos perform well on a Kindle Fire HD? and should I spend an extra $30 to get the extra memory? The Kindle hypes the Cloud storage, so I thought my storage needs on the device

  • Re: Upgrade from Logos 4 to Logos 5

I upgraded to the L5 Silver package from the L4 Scholars package. When the cross grade come out I paid another $6 and change for the remaining two data sets which were not included with the Silver upgrade. I teach an adult SS class and I find the extra features and resources helpful. I could have done without them, and never been aware of what I was

  • Re: Logos 5 or Pre-Pub deals? You don't have to choose

I had two Community pricing turned pre-pub titles coming due on Nov 12. Total of $80. I called Logos to see if I could delay the billing or add to a payment plan along with a Logos 5 Silver upgrade. The guy said I could, but I didn't take action as I wanted to review my finances before placing the order. I then looked back at my account the next day

  • L5 Upgrade page, dark vs light grey circles?

I have noticed when I look at my L5 upgrade page that some of the titles have a black circle next to them, and others are have a grey circle. On my screen, all of the black circles are listed under the Silver package. I currently have the Scholars pkg. The black circles only appear if I click on the "New to You" . Just curious. Thanks

Thanks for the information. I found the link for maps. I don't have, or can't find the Sermon Starter Guide / Thematic outlining tool. Maybe it is in a higher package that I don't have.

I have been a Logos user since Logos 3. Purchased my first packages from CBD, which was the Bible Study collection. Not long after, I picked up the MacArthur, Jeremiah, and Hayford sets on a closeout from Nelson. When L4 come out, I upgraded to the Scholars package. When I look at all of the Community pricing, plus upgrades purchased in the past 5 years

  • Re: Biblia.com not syncing with Bible reading plan

My reading plans are not syncing from the Logos 4 desktop to biblia.com either. They do sync fairly quickly from biblia.com to the desktop though. If I check off a day on a bible reading plan on biblia.com, it will recreate the plan on my desktop, even though it has been deleted on the desktop. I wonder if biblia.com is syncing the reading plan from

  • Default "Go" box results

How do you change the default search windows which populate when entering a bible reference in the "Go" box? It gets distracting when I have 5 window panes open with multiple tabs on each pane. I don't need 5 bible resources in the Bible pane. If I want to view another version, I can right click on my mouse and open it. It also eats up my system resources
