• Share Documents Possible

Is it (or will it be) possible to share document files with others. In the past it was possible to share note, visual filters files with other folks.I also shared other types of files but some of these are no longer possible (e.g. custom tool bars) With some of these new documents will it be possible to share these files with others. I do not see how

Same thing here. It would be nice to have control over the three different kinds of marks. Favorites, Search and Wear. For me wear marks are the least useful Search marks could be useful Favorite mark more useful. A really cool idea but does get in the way frequently.

  • Re: how to scroll two windows in synchronization

Click on the little thumbnail (in the resource window) for the bible(s) or resources and from the drop down menu choose Link Set: A. Make sure you set both bibles (or resources you want to scroll together) to the same link set letter If resources are a part of the same link set and they have a similar index they will scroll together.

Give this a try to see if it does what you want... To get the lemma code you can navigate to a location where the word exists. Say James 1:2, then right click choose the lemma in the right pane and choose "search this resource" in the left pane. Then in the search dialog copy and past the code from the find box. Make a new visual filter document: File

Here are the graphs... L4B2 on Win7 64bit Closed L4 and reopened after each item below 1. Open L4 with NKJV already open (from last layout NKJV only resource opening) 2. L4 Open and settled with empty layout. Then Open NKJV 3. L4 Open to an empty layout and settled. Then open NASB 3. L4 Open to an empty layout and settled. Then open ESV Go figure! I

Win 7 defragged it but I ran defrag before testng just to make sure of that possible issue. Also, I ran update resources and there were no new resources downloaded. Running beta 2 and the same issue is occurring. I can duplicate it on two laptops that I have they are pretty much the same. Lenovo x200 Tablets - one has a slightly slower porcessor. Win

While I do think it is good to have the options to do different things I would say that I do like having the same Highlighting show in different instances of the same resource. It would be good to allow Highlighting to be a document like Visual filters, this may allow for both types of options. I was very glad to see that L4 allowed highlighting in

Dave and Josh, I installed Beta 2 and I am still seeing this unusual CPU usage with the NKJV Bible. It only happens the first time it is accessed after startup. Either when a part of the opening layout (I don't start with the Home page) or the first time it is accessed. (right or left click from another bible). If I start with the ESV opened there is

Josh, I really appreciate your time and willingness to serve. It is seen in your posts with others and I greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and care for others. I did check all of these things before posting this information. If you are trying to keep some stats, I have about 60 processes running and they are at 0% CPU usage. I do not load the program
I don't experience that CPU usage, but I'm using 4.0a beta on Win 7!
Thanks Dave, I have been debating on continuing this phase of beta process. I probably will, I just have not taken the extra time lately. I did forget to put that I am now on Win7 64bit and SR-7.

  • NKJV and CPU use high

in trying to deal with program responsiveness I have notice that when initially opening the NKJV there is a large CPU usage that lasts for quite some time. (100% for about a minute on a 1.8ghz core2 duo). When opening with other bibles ESV or NASB (these are all interlinears) the CPU usage is significantly less and for a significantly shorter length

Webster's 11th edition has the same slow response issue. Webster's 10th edition is a better but also is sluggish.

  • Re: Slow (logos 4)

Visual Filters do greatly affect performance. If you have many set on (checked) or "all resources" or "all bibles" in the VF definition file then that could be an issue. It was for me. It did not solve all the performance sluggishness but it did move it in the right direction. Still these should be able to work more efficiently on a relatively new machine

  • Visual Filter Request

Ability to apply visual filter to a Bible Reference(Passage)or even better Bible selection(not limited by verse numbering) that shows in all bibles. Add a Reference or Passage tab to the Basic Bible Morph tabs Reference Formatting e.g. Phil 4:8-10 Blue Underline Galatians 5:19-26 Red Underline Don't want to use highlighting because it is all or nothing

What might be nice would be to add RSS feeds to personally desires sites. Say you church has a sight that distributes audio lessons. An RSS feed with metadata for specified sites could be usefull to people.

Your right they cannot be viewed this way but the information is still there and can be accessed to look up the Greek words. There are two ways to get to the information you want... Right click on a particular word and you will get a fly out menu, go down to where it says Strong's Strong's Greek #xxxx and choose this and then on the left side of this
