I do believe custom plan can be done in V4 Make a New Reading Plan Click on the "All Passages" link and type or insert the passages or books separated by semicolons Choose other settings as desired and click GO! Here is a chronological plan (not M'Cheyne) that I set up this past year, the text can be copied an pasted into the Range field... http://www

preference here would be... dragging highlighting style to shortcuts bar (great for tablet use) do this with "add to 'note file' also assign single character hot key (would like to have option to do this with favorites or other functions) other highlighting considerations... user created styles grouped styles highlights grouped styles function more

  • Re: SUGG: Ability to choose Note-File on Right-Click Menu

Definitely would prefer more options to send to note files 1. Pop ups with pop ups is not a problem for me. It's faster and less hassle than opening files. 2. The last 3-4 which have been opened is the next best option.

  • Rick Brannan: NKJV Interlinear Questions/Issue

Hey Rick, I wanted to check with you because it appears there is an issue for a pair of words in 1 Corinthians 11:24. Passage: 1 Corinthians 11:24 Words: "do this" Issue: the underlying Greek for these two seem to be flipped with one another
I will need to use
Matt, you don't have to. You can try and use Notes and it may work well for you. I use it a little for note taking purposes and some people use it extensively. I just want you to be aware what the primary purpose of the tool is so that your expectations are not too high and your eyes are open when
bump up the size of the interface to about 120%
Great suggestion for touch with the fingers, Kevin. This is called Program Scaling and can be found in the Logos menu - Tools|Program Settings|Accessibility Default Text size is in the same place a little lower in the Fonts section.

  • Re: Copy Bible Verse Command

This should get close to what you want... You may have to delete the first verse number after the reference and you will not have paragraphs in long passages. The CBV tool does need some work, there are certainly limitations and a few bugs. _____________________________________ %NoRedLetter %NoFootnotes %NoCitation =Header [FullPassageRef] =ForEachVerse

  • Re: Touchscreen/tablet pcs and Logos 4.0

I use a tablet with Logos and I think it works great. Version 4 is much more tablet friendly than Version 3. It is important to understand that "Notes" in Logos is designed primarily for annotating resources not for use as a "note taking" tool. It can be used to take notes but you will find that it falls short as a great "note taking tool" if that is

Thanks y'all for your help. I will do a work around by just removing the extra lines.

  • Re: CBV coding issue

Thanks, I tried that before posting. It doesn't solve the problem. Extra line break is still there. It has something to do with the coding of the pericopes. This only occurs where there was a pericope. Removing %UseBibleParagraphs removes all the other paragraph markup except the extra line break was is still there. Also, I want the paragraphs.

  • Re: Notes still a flop

George, I think it can now be done in a convoluted way. But the logos developing team has said that this ability will be added. I believe they are trying to develop a new linking protocol that does not have some of the cross browser issues that the old links have. With that said, until that is brought back you can make a link in MSWord and then paste

  • CBV coding issue

Why am I getting a New Line (paragraph) after the verse number and the text of a new paragraph. I want to use the Bible paragraphs. The issue seems to be with the removal of pericopes. Which I want removed. CBV Code---------------- %UseBibleParagraphs %NoParFormatting %NoCharFormatting %NoRedLetter %NoFootnotes %NoCitation =Header [FullPassageRef]

Thanks Sam I am not sure that searching the headwords or article titles is the best way to get where I want. I am just trying to understand and adjust my thinking. I am sure y'all are working on strategies to be effective in our study that are better than the topic browser. I look forward to seeing how this will work.
V3 topics

This is a slight difference than an internet search, because the value that logos provides is in the richly tagged resources. And what a great value and gift it is! The engine tools are what helps us to access the value from these specially tagged resources. Topic tagging was (is) one of the valuable ways to access significant information in the library
