• Bible Word Study (Logos 5 Not responding)

Just upgraded through the minimal crossgrade and have had more delays in work than my previous 2 years with Logos 4. This is my first study session with it and the Bible Word Study kicks into a non responding mode. I am thinking of returning the minimal crossgrade. Does this get better?

  • Re: I miss the Logos Christmas Credit from last year

I waited for my big purchases till Christmas anyway. I think that the Christmas Credit was an amazing sale that kept on giving. I purchased the NICNT/NICOT in Sept because of the special price and thought that I would lose the Xmas Credit. Oh well, I still would buy more if there was Christmas Credit!

  • Single Column Reading

I was reading this morning with my iPad in Landscape mode with one column, then turned the page after an hour of reading and it suddenly went to two columns. I have no idea how I stumbled upon the one column. Is there a way to change it back to one column?
Personally have two commentary series in my Top 5 Bible priorities so right click in a Bible, click selection, have option to open a commentary or two along with other Bibles. Once a commentary is open (and has focus), can click "+" to open a new tab, which has a list of prioritized commentaries on the right side
What type of guide is BCC?
I developed it with more of my Background Commentaries (zondervan, ivp), bible handbooks, and collections with Church fathers, Ap&Psuedo, Philo My system is pretty slow, which is why they are all open. I felt it took to long to open a new commentary. I do not do too many searches.

  • Fresh Ideas for Layouts

Hey Everyone, I have been using one or two layouts for the last year. One for NT and OT, but the similar layout. I think I got it from Mark Barnes. Here is my layout: Top Left: Greek, Lexham, Search and various Guides Bottom Left: Information, Power Lookup, and other Bible Versions Top Right: Commentaries Bottom Right: Lexicons, Bible Dictionaries Side

As an FYI, the mobile app is just called the "Logos Mobile App" or "Logos for iOS." If the context is clear that you are speaking
Two last thoughts: Have you checked the Vyrso app to see if the notes appear there? If the Vyrso app is a no go, could you provide a screen shot of the notes in L4 (both the resource & note file)? Did that and still no notes. I am unwilling to uninstall and reinstall because of all the books I have downloaded to the iPad. There was a box this morning on the iPad that said I needed to redownload some of my library. My version number is 2.0.2.2368.

Notes where created in Logos 4 on laptop with highlight. Both highlight and note were not there, and they have been there in the past, so I was pretty confident it would work. The other notes in Logos 4 also do not show up on the iPad but do on the iPod Touch. I edited the note on the iPod this morning, and have yet to see if it is on Logos 4 yet? What

  • Notes not syncing to iPad

So I used Logos 4 on my laptop and created Note Files for my bible study this morning that I would be able to read and refer to in my leading of Men's Bible Study. I wake up this morning and no notes.....not one. Thankfully, my wife's iPod touch running iOS 4 had the note files so I could lead the study. I am hesitate to ever use this feature for leading

Next year everyone should vote for Cranfield, Barrett, and anyone else from the newer ICC Commentary series. We could have paid $22 for each volume of the Cranfield Romans Commentary. Better deal than Wrights stuff.
