Some us pay a lot already so might not be as quick to want to pay even more for the app to be updated. I too noted that IOS 9 and split-screen seems useful. I think its only on the most recent iPads so mine is excluded anyway, but of course it could be another tickbox on the buy side when it comes time to consider the next upgrade/replacement in time

Reuben, Many Thanks. Now I'm going to need to check that out of course. I really must read the Release Notes more carefully. I normally just skim the bug fixes and don't always read the changes so much. Again, thanks. Jim

OPS! OK so I found the Click or Hover UI. I'd bet it was not there 10 mins ago but of course it must have been all along. Did we used to be able to define preferred resources for the Info window, or is that done in the Library UI? Its been a long time since I'd updated my resources on the PC as mostly I've been using my iPhone for the last year, and

This is a bug with the tool (Version 6.4 Beta 4) OR I'm losing it and just can't see it for looking. Please: Where is the UI to change the settings for the Information Tool? E.g. Set to Click or Hover, and what portions are enabled and what resources to prefer etc? I really just cant see where its gone but I used it only a few days ago. But maybe before

Thanks Steve. I'd got used to being able to do it anywhere and have the Info window hit my preferred lookup dictionaries etc. There are many words I just don't know or don't trust that I know what it means to be sure of what is being said. As above, its one of the things that make reading things in the Logos PC app great. Regards, Jim.

Sorry if this has been reported and discussed already. I love to have the "Information" window open on the right and if I'm unsure of a word, a simple click in any document updates to the Info window. Except it does not within Wikipedia.(I just enabled hover mode and still not doing anything within Wikipedia tool.) I can however right-click and select

I run the beta on my laptop and main desktop pc. But I would not normally update them both at the same time, so I have options. Also I have my iPad and the browser options. But I also don't use this for work so if I was really stuck I'd wait until it all gets sorted out. The normal advice is to not run betas on my primary (or only) device if you depend

Bruce, Yes I'm aware of Matt 20, but that is NOT the point. We had been told things back when we ordered like "the only way it will be sold" etc. I think one of the first few posts in this thread captured the words better than I remember. In the Matt 20 story, everyone at the beginning still got what they had agreed to. And those later too got what

I too came on-board with EEC from the start, so also disappointed with what often feels like a broken promise. I'm happy that others get access to these works, but it still stings and I feel the pain. Sadly, not sure I'd front up to any such future "offer" at this kind of price scale. I'm more inclined to take the risk and go along for the free ride

Bob, Thanks for the additional updates and comments. I like the new 90% concept, such that you could not enable selected titles. If it was permitted, it would be better for someone to QA and "tag" each new title so they arrived "ready to go", e.g. with the Logos or Vyrso etc sticker in the metadata. This would be better than "Nasty Title" goes on sale

I'm not sure if there is yet enough in Logos Now that's worth $10 per month. Maybe there already is, however ... What I am sure of is that by supporting this and seeing it grow, I'll get back much more than $10 per month in extra value from the library I have already paid for. I have hand tools I know I own, but can't currently find. If I have one of

Francis, I have at present got "My Tags" and "Community Tags" enabled in the Library view. If I'm understanding it correctly these are the same as "mytag" and "tag" if I use them in search or collection rules. (I was searching by tag under creation, science, and a range of different options and adding my own "Creation" tag to many I found. Once done

Bob, You ask a most interesting question, and my initial answer is that yes, I’d like it if your company carried “everything” I might ever want to buy, borrow or rent. My concerns however include the following kinds of angle: Is your company, and hence my investment to date, better protected or more put at possible future risk if you went with the

Consider making a new Collection and put the following in the rule: mytag:Creation OR tag:Creation OR tag:Science OR tag:Creationism OR tag:Evolution The "mytag" is where I have set that in the "My Tags" field for any title. The "tag" is I think picking up what others have done. It seems to work anyway. I'm getting about 100 titles including all those

I have the "Day One Creation ..." collection, and the "Reasons to Believe etc" (Hugh Ross and others) collections, and a few other assorted titles in Logos. Sadly I've not read so very much of any of them for some time, so hard to give any real feedback on their merits and positions. Like all such matters: if its pressing on your mind and keeps you

One of the problems with Logos 6 on a tablet PC is the amount of "disk" a large library needs. The main issue is that you can't install "everything" on your main home PC, and then only a subset (e.g. all those in your collection named "Tablet") on the small one. If only ... Anyway, for your library you need the storage and room for the index and a little

OK - its seems that maybe its as simple as "quark" is a possible "meaning" for the Hebrew word that shows as "cheese" in ESV. Thanks Google, Wikipedia and Logos Bible Software.
-
Sorry, this is not very important I guess, but just wondering ... I did a search, for a random reason, to see what titles include "Quark". Many books touching on science and quantum physics here and there. But then a hit in BHS to 2 Sam 17. I can see its the final "word" on the footnote. But does someone know what its saying or the meaning in that context
-
WOW - so it seems this title is already mine, in that its in a package I have. Trouble is, now my vote is grey and I can't increase my bid, so I guess that makes it less likely it goes over the line. So how does that really work: adding it into a package just means we wont get it ever?

Hi Ryan, Just to confirm: SR1 and the ESV update or whatever fixed the crash during Read Aloud. And yes, it carried on reading past the filtered text and the ball kept bouncing on the 1st line of the next filtered section. Not really right, but not totally broken. At least not a crash. Better would be to respect the filter boundaries, but that's a whole
