• Re: Wonder about resource dreams for the March Madness field ?

Logos March Madness is always single titles, no collections. That said, they have been breaking up LOTS of collections lately which means the "field" may actually be really good this year.

And for all those Logos folks who need a 2 minute break from "shipping" you should totally watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPHM6dG-dAo

This is why they almost never give release dates. Go get'em Seth: http://vimeo.com/5895898

  • Re: Linking Panels!

It may have been in the app before, but I don't remember it working well. I always hated that my ESV and ESVSB would not scroll together. The new location and functionality (that didn't work for me before) are both happy additions.

  • Linking Panels!

Just watched the video for the iOS release and at :30 I saw a sweet treat that I hadn't seen any mention of previously: linking panels! So sweet! Really happy for that addition. Great job app team! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fexsKJuEMo

  • New iMac w ATA & SSD?

Any mac user out there running the new iMac with ATA/SSD setup? Just wondering if I should go for it or not. Upgrading my home/business computer (my current one can't even run lion) and am consider the dual drive setup. I don't run Logos much on my current machine b/c I can't even get enough RAM into it to make it worth it. Thoughts?

  • Re: Dear Bob Pritchett, may I have a moment of your time?
I get rather sick on my insides to see otherwise rational Christians act as if a company is a ministry and therefore has an excuse for doing poorly.
Perhaps it is a matter of perspective. I don't excuse them for doing poorly. Rather, I think they are doing a great job. I have things that I'd like to see

  • Dear Bob Pritchett, may I (also) have a moment of your time?

Just wanted to say that having seen Logos from the inside (as an employee) and outside (as a consumer), I daily become more and more impressed with your leadership of Logos. As a entrepreneur-wannabe, watching Logos push and grow into new platforms and markets over the last several years has been thoroughly educational and nothing short of inspiring

  • Re: Kindle Fire

I got one because of the low pricepoint. I figure it is worth a try. I also bought one to give away. So, if you don't want to drop the coin to test it out, I'm giving one away on my site, BestSeminary.com ( http://best-seminary.com/win-kindle-fire-and-more/) . Including the Fire, we're giving away about $700 worth of resources from Zondervan, Crossway

  • Re: Problem syncing reading plans

I just remembered this morning that you can manually delete reading plans off the iPad and iPhone. On the home page of the app, simply swipe right over the plan and then click the delete button that shows up. At least this way you can get rid of any reading plans you don't want showing up on you iDevice.

  • More Reformation Trust

I have my prepub order in for http://www.logos.com/product/9186/reformation-trust-collection (oh, that it would ship soon!). Along with that, I'd love to see Logos or Vyrso to add: http://www.ligonier.org/store/crucial-questions-booklet-paperback/

  • "Sync Now" for iPad

Updated my reading plans on my Mac the other day and they aren't syncing. Looking at the forums, seems to be an issue Logos is working on. Got me thinking thought that it would be really nice to have a way to "force" the sync. I keep looking at the app wanting to type in "sync now" but, alas, can't do.

  • Re: Suggested resources on the Book of Hebrews in Logos

Kistemaker's commentary in the Baker NT collection is really good. I took his class on Hebrew's at RTS and it really opened my eyes to a lot that I had wrestled with in Hebrews. His commentary is essentially his class. Also, as Is Mebin siad, Bruce in the NICNT is really good. Kistemaker actually assigned it for the class.

  • Your most useful iPad apps?

Got my iPad2 this week. Logos was my #1 reason for buying it and was my first install. Outside of Logos, what apps do you find most useful?

  • Re: Copying allowable books to ipad

I'm pretty sure the dev team knows our desire to be able to more easily download books in bulk. Non-the-less, I started a thread yesterday to remind them that it is something we want. Feel free to +1 it: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34616.aspx
