  • Re: Upgrade from Logos 4 to Logos 5

If you don't wish to shell out more money, you can always do the free upgrade to Logos 5 when they make in available (maybe January). You will get some of the new functionality without paying out a dime.

  • iPhone App

It is my understanding that if you download the iPhone app that you get 69 books for free. Is there a list somewhere of which books these are?

Justifiable anger I might add. Not personally directed at anyone but with Logos as a company. A company I still love and a product I use every day. But after $8000 worth

  • Re: Upgrading

All I want to do is upgrade the basic software engine and have the new functionality work with my existing resources. I am not now interested in purchasing additional books. If that's the case then I stand corrected and apologize.

  • Re: Upgrading

You're going to have to keep saying it, because this was the best kept secret and the worst launch of a new version release I have ever seen and I work in IT and have seen quite a few. It's just wrong to make your reinvest for all the same resources over again in order to get the new functionality in the latest version. I know of no other software company

  • Re: Upgrading

I too have spent a large sum of money and have spend a lot of time on PBB's to make Logos 4 my complete Bible Study software. I really don't get this. An upgrade should use the resources I already own and just charge me a cost for the new functionality. This is really a bad idea and this will alienate many loyal customers.

My mistake, I was referring to the Appendixes. The Companion Bible Notes are available in e-sword, The Word, and Swordsearcher programs. I am very much interested in a docx files for the Companion Bible Notes also.
