• Changing Bible versions

Is there a way to quickly switch from one version of the Bible to another using the iPhone app? I currently have to use the Text Comparison tool to see a verse in several versions, but it doesn't seem to be able to show more than one verse at a time. I love how the desktop version of Logos has the dropdown to select from a list of other versions, but

  • Devotional time issue with iPhone app

When I go to the home page to select my devotional (currently using M&E) at 6am EST, it takes me to yesterday's devotion. I think this must be a time zone issue because later in the day it is correct. It's a minor inconvenience, but I have to scroll through the previous devotion to get to the current one. I found a workaround to use More > History and

  • Transferring notes and highlighting from Logos 3 to 4.5 - any problems?

Has anyone attempted transferring highlighting or notes from 3.0 to 4.5? How did it go? I have delayed importing my notes and highlighting from Logos 3 to 4 because my notes got messed up back when there was the major 3.0 upgrade (version e or f, I can't remember back that far). Logos implemented a "fix" at that time, but the fix took away my highlighting

  • Re: PowerPoint and Keynote integration: what do you want?

I am just starting to work with Proclaim, testing it out, but it seems to me that once you fully commit to it that you would use it to create your presentations instead of PowerPoint. I guess if you have a guest speaker who brings in some slides you would need this functionality. But I would like to be able to export a Proclaim presentation into PowerPoint

  • Please tag Bunyan references in Morning & Evening

Dear Logos, I really enjoy reading Morning & Evening as a devotional, and Spurgeon has several references to Bunyan's works, or at least Pilgrim's Progress (8 references to Bunyan alone). Would it be possible to link these references to the Bunyan resources? For example, the entry for the evening of October 23 directly quotes Pilgrim's Progress when

  • Re: "Learn to Use Biblical Greek and Hebrew" video series

Just got the videos today (Philly area), looking forward to checking them out. 2 DVDs (1 Greek, 1 Hebrew) with "Moe's Top 10 Keyboard Shortcuts" on a card. The terms of use state that these can be presented "in a group setting, provided your students own a copy." Does this mean that every student in the class needs to own a copy of the DVDs? Or they

I would also add that the updater says "Latest 3.0f Resources" while the latest release (which I have) is g. Apparently this has been the case recently: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/17694/133241.aspx#133241 ~Clay

  • 4.0c SR-1 Humor

Does anybody else besides me find the following bug fix hilarious? "Fixed crash (ArgumentOutOfRangeException) when searching “Entire Bible” for “Amen.”" I have to imagine that this user community can come up with a few funny one-liners about this. Here is my own poor attempt: I realized I had asked too much from God in my prayers when my Amen was answered

  • Re: Prichards Ancient Near Eastern Texts
usually it is. But NOT in this case. I see no hyperlinked references to bibletext troughout the text.
That is disappointing; it would be nice if each translation at least had a footnote with the corresponding Bible references. I don't suppose you have the Context of Scripture? It has bountiful scripture references
Clay, Dominic is using 4.0c which was just released today! Unfortunately, the ANEQUALS operator doesn't work when pairng an English word with a general morphology. You can do "come ANDEQUALS lemma:ἔρχομαι" but not "come ANDEQUALS @V??M" It has something to do with the way the data is structured. I still don't really understand
try: come AND @V??M
Thanks Dominic - That is what I tried first, and using NEAR actually refined the results. After seeing your post I tried searching using the LEB, but I do not have the "All Morph Text" option - are you using a beta version? Here is a screen shot of my results. • Search for a particular word in the imperative

Hi Forum Gang, My wife is trying to find all of the places God asks us to "come" in the Bible. This seems like a good opportunity for Logos to flex it's muscles, but I am having trouble figuring out the search terms for this one - any help is appreciated! So far the best results I have are from a morphological search using the ESV using Logos Greek
