Current Behaviour: When you click on a verse in a bible, the reference box changes to be that verse (this is the half done part), however, none of the linked resources follow. They only follow if you use the arrow keys, manually type an entry or if you scroll the verse you want to be the reference to the top of the window Desired Behaviour: The linked
The two problems might be related.
Hi Rosie, It is the same issue. Maybe more visibility of the issue will motivate them to improve the visibility of the indication. There are other things which make you guess in V4 and I think need to be addressed. One is which panel/panel has the focus. The faint shadow around the
Just wondering how many others are feeling this way.
I would have like to have bought this one too, but couldn't swing it right now. Maybe it will go on sale sometime when I have the cash to take advantage of such a sale.

1) Reboot. 2) Running fine, no other problems 3) Poked around in the event viewer, found the reboot and looked at what was going on, but there were no obvious errors or anything that seemed odd. I did notice the indexer start up. Maybe it was the indexer failing during the cleanup after the reboot due to a locked file or something.

Hi Bryan, Will do. I have also turned off the UAC thing based on your reply and the posting on the wiki saying the same thing. Regards, Clinton
I agree that PRS is nearly unusable as it is now.
The word 'nearly' should not be in that sentence! In June we were told in another thread that "Development is working on optimizing the parallel resource sets. I'll add this thread to the case. Thanks." They have not done a good job.
We haven't seen the results of their work yet. I presume they're doing a good job, but we'll have to wait and see.
Mine has become 2 to 10 times slower over the last 3+ months. They are presumably working on making it faster, it clearly has gotten slower while they they have been working on 'improving' performance.
#2 Bob has said that giving user control was considered but the decision was made to make it automagic. (This is a heart breaker for some.) Some (Alll?) would like to see a control for number of words per line or a percentage increase or a simple selection of number of columns.
The magic just ain't there.
-
so instead of letting (or making) you choose a number of columns, we try to do it "automagically."
Hi Bob, I would like reading view to be limited to 1 or 2 columns as I find that 4-6 columns to be very distracting when I maximize the window and I loose what I see as the advantage of reading mode.. I like to maximize

Here you go. Note the formating is different, but it works fine. Regards, Clinton 4237.Horner_Updated_2010-11.xml

" Set Update Channel to {default|stable| beta }" set update channel to default. Is the one you want. This will install all future beta versions (assuming you have already installed the beta) and when the next gold candidate comes out you will upgrade to it then it will not go onto the next beta cycle. If you have not installed the beta, then it will
Am I making sense?
Do you want the layout to automatically open such that your bible and commentaries, (and others) are opened to the passage in your reading plan for that day? If so, I think the closest you can come is to open the reading plan and make it be one of the panes in the saved layout. That way you can

If I turn on autoscroll (middle click of mouse and then a down or up drag) the text does not all scroll at the same rate. The superscript and subscript numbers with at times scroll a little slower then jump to catch up. When doing this with a heavily annotated bible (eg NET or HCSB), the effect is like watching the sea. In a window, all the text should

I pasted a bunch of text into a note. Notice the word Sinners. The I and the R appear bold, and the two N's are faint and appear gray.

Hi, My default font is set to Default Sans Serif and my Default Notes Font is set to Default. The Size of the default is set to 11. I just noticed that if I set the font size to 12 the font displays nicely, albeit large, but if it is set 10 or 11 then the font does not display nice. I guess this is not a bug, but just a poor font for my use as the default

I do have another copy open with the page view not set so this is the same as Steve's example. Sorry for the duplicated report.
Having been one of the biggest complainers about slow parallel resources
Hi Mark, I don't know if you are the biggest, I have been complaining about this too and I am 6' 6" tall which makes me bigger than 99% of the population. At 27 pages, the MSRP and prepub amounts seem pricey. On kindle-like vendor gives this one away for free.
