• Re: Tablets: Apple or Android?

Short answer - don't know. In all likelihood, if you have the app already, you will still be able to use it, but it will not be updated. If your computer crashes, you will potentially lose the app. Again, this is the "worst case scenario." As much as I am a Apple fan boy (I am following the WWDC online as I type this), I would not want someone to buy
So are you saying that in the future we might not be able to use Logos 4 in the iPad? So please, don't tell me we won't be able to read our Logos 4 books in the future with the iPad, if not I guess I'll have to go with Droid and hope that the Droid app gets released sometime soon.
As you can tell from this thread

I am "from Alabama" in a way, but do not live there now. My folks are from there and we spent our summers there. All of my extended family lives there. I can pick up and drop my accent at will. I will be taking my family down to the Gulf Shores area in a couple of weeks. Alabama has been hit hard the last couple of years with the oil spill and now the

My friend - I will weep with you... but not for my iPad. Your first article: "Last night, we received an unconfirmed report from a user who appears to have the first iPad virus." This was from the first week of the original iPad. I'm still waiting for it to be confirmed. Your second article: "The software works through Windows as opposed to the iPad

+1 for iPad (but wait) There is a little bit of uncertainty about the iPad's future with eBooks. Apple is playing hardball with Google & Amazon. Apple's view is that it is bringing millions of customers to Amazon (for example) through its platform & app store. Their view is that eBooks must be available to be purchased "in app," thus giving Apple a

    1. While in a resource (book), you can click the "info" button in the upper right hand corner. This will allow you to use a resource "offline." 2. Bible word studies work from the internet and are not available in offline mode. The Logos iPad app, when offline, is little more than an ebook reader.

Reece - The program can be downloaded free. The resources, however, cost money. If you purchased a copy, it should have a corresponding email address (yours) which works like an unlock code. You are NOT allowed to use your friends account. That would be stealing. If you are just using your friends CD to install the software, that's OK. You will then

I don't seem to be able to rename highlighters or Palettes. I made a duplicate, renamed it, but it still says HIGHLIGHTER PENS (2)... EDIT - after a restart, it did change the name. Is this a known issue?

It is my understanding that Libronix resources purchased elsewhere can be added by calling Logos customer service with an unlock code. What about LLS? What is the difference? Is one format newer or better? Do new file formats get downloaded from the Logos servers?
